The news said it was over Facebook. How do you know what the police and the school do NOT know? It may or may not have been his student. It did not say there was any physical contact. You don't know what really happened and I don't know.

I know there are lots of slutty little drama queens in that school who LOVE to cause trouble. You encourage them to? What if you were accused of such a thing? They'd come arrest you, too! This is a man's job and life you're talking about. How about letting the police and courts do their job?

Amen really. Whether this man is guilty or innocent is yet to be seen. What was the real story or the whole story is yet to be seen. On the beckley Forumn they are saying this could be a soon to be x wife, (divorce happening before this story broke) sabotaging him. Like I said, two stories, not making a judgemnt myself, just praying for ALL children involved.

My kid goes to that middle school. She has come home and told me that the principal pulled his pants down in an assembly to show them the hearts on his boxers. She also told me the shop teacher really worries her and her friends. This arrest is the last straw. I am pulling her out and home schooling her from now on. This way I know for a fact she is learning things besides to be afraid of the teachers there.(Do they do background checks on the teachers?? They should)

I went there, too. Middle school girls love to conjure up trash. Mr. Poe does the pep rally and wears shorts under the "underwear" he shows the students. It's a joke and the kids think it's funny. I'd be willing to bet some of your daughters have posted pictures of themselves on Facebook in bikinis. I guess that's just fine with you, though.

You ignorant-ass people on that side of the county make me glad I got away from there. It will finally be that no man can work in a school because he might "look at" a girl. i think this is all bullshit , dickens was a wonderful teacher, wonderful track , basketball coach. i agree with system innocent until proven guilty. no one besides dickens and the girl know what really happened. & i really dont think his ex wife would be that low considering they have a daughter together. i dont think she would want her daughter to be without her daddy. really yall grow the hell up. dickens never once approached anyone in my class like that. & when i was in middle school teachers couldnt add you on myspace or facebook cause it was against the rules cause he could get in trouble for that. he was one of my favorites in school. i honestly dont think he would do any of that. but there had to have been some type of proof for them to arrest him. i dont know but i dont think it was his ex.

What I think is disturbing is all these really pretty girls on facebook that status say "Everybody needs to shut there mouths about Mr. Dickens, hes not guilty" These are young girls that have had him as a teacher, defending him. Almost like defending there man ): Ive had teachers/coaches and really liked them but if this came out about them I wouldnt be defending them because you never really know what goes on away from school. UNLESS you have or have had a "Special" relationship with him. I will hate to see the ending # of girls that he has done this with. Well we know one for sure, his first wife!!!
