I LOVE US Cellular. They've got the same phone as the motorola photon on sprint(it's called the electrify there), plus the galaxy s, galaxy s 2 and the htc 7 pro (same as sprint's htc arrive).
US Cellular's coverage is much better in my area; they have one-and-done contracts (sign one contract per line, then upgrade after your contract is over at a promotional price WITHOUT signing a new one), free battery swaps, rewards points, overage protection (they send you a text message if it looks like you'll exceed your plan minutes to keep you from going over), voice overage cap, overage forgiveness, and free incoming calls, texts, and picture/video messages. No other carrier offers the same benefits.
SO WHAT if they don't offer the iPhone 5000 ZXt with the free coffeemaker attachment.....SERVICE matters to me more, and they have everyone else beat; I've tried them all.
If you want cheap, go with sprint, and it shows; if you want the best experience, go with US Cell.

I called yesterday & they are replacing all the towers & said they'd knock off thirty dollars a month for the next four months cuz it's supposed to go on until August. Somehow they could see all my failed atempts too & I was like "So I'm only paying you hundred ten dollars for NO service a month instead of one hundredforty???? bullcrap!! I'm fed up too & just got my son the iphone 2 weeks ago.If you have to stay with them at least call to get a tech ticket for some discount.

We got the same run around. I just stayed with it and they finally released me from my contract. Also sometimes the other carriers will buy out your contract.

Just switched to Verizon. New rate plans went into effect on the 25th.$40 per phone for unlimited calls and texting. Data plans are separate and then you will need insurance. I am very happy with the coverage!!

All of the phone carriers are about equal in that they SUCK.
On any given day they all jack up some where for some reason & none of them are cheap.

You are sooo right about that. One service isn't any better than the other.Instead of them trying to compete for customers by lowering their rates, they raise them and give you less.

I went to return my Samsung SIII after 2 weeks,..well two weeks return in really 13 days with Sprint. They would not refund the money or get me out of two years, after being on the phone for 3 hours.

Been with Sprint for 14 years, have 5 lines and now they stonewall me, plus I have to live with piss poor coverage.

I'm done.

Eldest son wanted to get his wife an iphone through Sprint. After the third non-working iphone arrived, they decided they had enough of Sprint and their inability to connect the phones, lack of decent coverage where they live and several other problems. They went to Verizon, are paying $30 less a month than they did with Sprint and now both have working iphones. I have been a Verizon customer for over 12 years and have had very few problems with them.

I had Nextel for 12 years. They told me I needed to change to Sprint in June because Nextel was done. Worst mistake Sprint sucks...come August 18th if they are not up and running with better coverage I'm done.

I have been with Sprint for 10 years and this year has been the worst year for service. I understand they are upgrading their system, but come on...this is horrible. I pay a lot of money for 4 lines and this shit sux. I'm tempted to pay the early termination fee. However, I am going to give them a chance to prove themselves since all they keep saying is after the upgrade is complete our service in this area is going to be comparable to service you get in or near a larger city. We'll see.

I hate Sprint for a number of reasons. Two of which are:

1) Long story short: a few years ago, I ordered a new phone online. Upon recieving my bill, I dicovered that they charged me for 4 phones. I had to speak to 29 idiots, and wasted two days of my very busy life before they got it straightened out. Most of the folks I spoke with were kinda rude, each one passing the buck to the next. I need to buy a new phone, however I've been dreading it because I would rather have pins stuck in my eyes than to ever have to deal with one of their customer care people again.

2)I've been trying to log on to my acount to view my bill, however I lost my password (my computer crashed last month, losing all my passwords). In an effort to retrieve my password (I entered all of the correct information), I am now blocked for attempting too many times. Since I travel internationally non-stop (I'm in China now), this presents a problem. There is nobody to call until whenever their normal business hours might be. Since they do not tell me what those hours are when I call, I have to assume it's Monday at 8:00 AM. Heck, I'll be in a different country, in a whole other time zone by then.

I've never known a company that works so hard to piss their customers off. This is the one thing Sprint does very well.

I FINALLY gave in and bought a smart phone a few weeks ago . The service was bad b4 w the old phone ... now it's 10x worse w the new phone. Are they done up-grading their towers yet ? Still waiting for the new GOOD service. Doesn't improve I AM switching carriers - for good.

Interesting . I called Sprint today to complain about my service . Not only did they tell me they were going to credit my account $70 - they also stated ( in text form ) that this credit was going to be extended to the ENTIRE TOWN . So pay attention Braidwood ... let's see if they keep their word.

At&t isn't too bad. I get dropped calles every few months but for 101 a month after tax for an iPhone with everything unlimited I can deal. Plus I use data and texting way more that talking.

Yes I have been having a lot of problems with Sprint service. I work in downtown Detroit and anytime there is a sports events you can't make a call. I called them to complain in try to cancel my service they said everything looks fine F*** you sprint.

And I'm a NICE PERSON (until you jerk me around too many times) who always pays on time. I will not pay for service I'm not receiving, tho--I'm funny that way.

I had one supervisor tell me if I read the fine print in my contract. I'd see that Sprint does not guarantee complete service 100% of the time. Maybe I missed it, but where does it say that the customer guarantees payment 100% of the time?? I thought a "contract" or an "agreement" meant that if you agree to do "x", the other party agrees to do "y", but that's just me.
