Went there to pick up a well done pizza friday told the girl to make sure it was well done brought it out five minutes later asked if it was well done and she said thats why it took so long. Got home and it wasn't even cooked. Last time I'm going to get ripped off.

I have a hard time beliving they were REEFUSED service...REALLY??Maybe you should state the date, the time, and the server that refused to wait on them. Better yet, why didnt your friends say anything? Maybe they wouldve gotten free food??

Go an give it a try , had multiple people tell me this on diffrent times and dates. If even made the effort to get ahold of the owner who never seems to be around .( maybe this is the problem )

I love how the people here in Coal City and surrounding areas like to bash every business and person that's here in this town....Hey let's talk crap about everybody. Let's support NO ONE. Let's all be complete jerks to one another. I'm sure half the posts about rachettis and other businesses are from competitive business owners anyway. Personally, I like the food. The beef sandwich is great and so are some of the salads. Never been refused service. Have I had to wait? No longer than any other restaurant such as Chili's or even Piazza in town. Have they messed up my order? No. Were they rude? No. Is it expensive? for the amount of food you get? No. Is the owner there all the time? I have no idea, I've never had to ask. They have local kids and young people working there doing their best. This I know because I'm a member of the community. SO...Great Job Rachetti's! Keep up the good work. I like your food a lot!

This town is full of complainers and its like that anywhere you go. I ordered from this place about 2 weeks ago and had it delivered. I ordered the beef and the wife ordered another sandwich and it was actually pretty good. Delivery time was no different than any other place that you would have deliver and the price is what it is because I don't mind paying for it as long as its worth it and it was. Anyone that would use this sight as a reference for a place to eat you probably don't want these people in your place anyway

Great Food, service right away. I had a meat ball sub, brought half of it home. Wife had the Italian beef, said it was good and she brought half of it home. Good value for the money.

I have had food from here twice in the last few months. Once was carry out (pizza) that I was not impressed with. I thought I would give the place a second chance. This time I dined in and tried a sandwich. I will agree that both times the service was terrible. No one was friendly and it took much to long for a sandwich especially when there was one other table to wait on. I was not impressed with the sandwich and the price was ridiculous! Just a sandwich no side. There will not be a third time unless I hear or read some outstanding reviews. It's sad. I would like to see a good restaurant in CC, but so far no such luck. Maybe, Danny could take some pointers from Haydens in wilmington. The food and prices are always good.

went there last week and ordered an x large to go. I told them well done twice. Got there and said it would be a couple of minutes and said no problem make sure it was well done. Girl came out I wanted to check but she said it was well done.Of course it somehow reverted back to not fully cooked by the time I got home. LAST TIME I WILL GO THERE.

You should teally quit buying powdered soup in a bag and srart making your own homemade soup instead....maybe the staff and owners are not capable of that process....since you are in here everyday to buy the bag soup and advertising your soup as homemade...i was in there eating this week and i finally realized this was why you are always buying the bags of soup....lets face it folks..this place will be another business that fauls to make it in our town.....We love My Cousin Vinnies!!!!

Im not trying to be snarky but see my last comment!!

On a related note, I would think a community that is strugling to keep businesses in its downtown area would be more supportive, contructive in its criticism.If you have an issue with ANY business, I suggest you give 'em a call!!! Be polite, voice your opinion.

Also,I've glazed over some of these threads on Babes,, Advanced Auto, other topics, ect. and I come away feeling embarased at the tone. A lot of my fellow town members act like asses to be blunt and you are actually hurting your own reputation more than the person or business you are trying to hurt. Show a 'lil class. Stop making the rest of us look bad.
