Tonight they are discussing his contract this year he makes 84,000 he isn't worth a crap just like the mayor. I went in the other day to talk to him and he doesn't know what he is talking about. I wish someone would get them clowns out of there.

Citizen have another beer, you and everyone else at at the meeting had a vested interest. Two crossing guards, a secretary of the PD, the new Chief and the Sargent's father in laws. Yes that's right not one private citizen came to question the board's judgement on consolidation. You are the one that is not worth a crap.

It must be hard to run a village in the negative. But that is what they do; run budgets in the negative year after year. Glad the PD got their pensions that are not funded in any way. Same way they run the state.

Is the "City Administer" different than the City Administrator. Learn to spell before you rant and whine.

I never seen so many misinformed people.Try to get the facts. Cc is looking to put more police on the street with less cost to the taxpayers. The study will help find ways to do this, If you don't like it move to Diamond or the Hill. They have Gc Police protection... Diamond 40,000 a year and Carbon Hill for 7,000 a year.....CC 1.3 MILLION a year..thankful for people looking to save some money.

I am sure glad people on this page can put a price tag on our family's saftey. There is plenty of more ways to cut cost, then to merge our police force with Grundy county. Let's start at the top 84,000 to a village administrator! The citizens of this town need to become informed and ask questions in the village meetings. Our officers do a great job with the equipment and manpower they have. Tell the village board to wake up and put funding into the right places and not their pockets!!

tell them to cut the overtime pay from the officers that will seriously put a dent in how much money is spent. there are a lot of things but no one takes the time to open there eyes and look at whats happening until now and now they are all whining because it is now starting to effect them more well boohoo we tried to tell ya you didnt listen vote everyone out and put ordinary people who are no a part of the current grundy county click in office. as well as the people in coal city.
