Hopefully two other people don't get the same idea. For some reason our town's like it when we have the same kind of business down the road from each other.

Sounds like a good idea to me. I've never understood why developers overlook the fact that the combined population of Coal City, Diamond and Braidwood is over 13,000 people. You look at most towns that size in the area(Morris, Pontiac, Minooka, etc.) and they have way more businesses than this area.

Once developers catch on, the 113-I55 cooridor is poised to blowup. Just too many people for it not to.

this just in. the old dumpy building in the center of town is burning to the ground. What an improvement. Let's build a park there.

We tried to create a park district like in surrounding towns. Got voted down.

There are only so many businesses developers can build in this area that take link cards and food stamps

You don't need a park district to have a park, we have a lot of lovely parks without one. The only thing a park district would do is add to our already high real estate taxes to pay for a Park District director, a secretary, treasurer, etc. etc. I would vote no again for it.

I do hope Brunswick zone comes around here. Bowling is great fun for family and friends.

Move to Morris or Wilmington and see how high there taxes are. The nuclear plant keeps our property taxes low. What are ya stupid>
