According to something I had seen on the news before the 1st of the year, we can no longer throw away electronics. Does anyone know if there is still a particular day each month, year that I can throw them away or do I have to take them to Morris or Joliet? Also which places will dispose of electronics, tv's, printers, radios?

From an article in the Courant, starting this spring, there will be an electronic(tvs, computers, monitors, printers etc) drop off in Coal City. The drop off will be at the village maintenance garage at 830 N Broadway. Hours will be 8a.m. to 2p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Be sure to get those new mandated light bulbs with the trace mercury in them. That way we can feed the land fill.

Oh, when you burn, don't inhale the smoke; it has cadmium in it.
