My thoughts & prayers go out to the family & friends of the 4 teens killed from Wilmington. My heart just aches for them. Tragic...just tragic.

They were not out after curfew. One parent reported his/her child missing at 5:30pm and the police told them they couldn't put out a missing child report until after curfew! Know your facts or shut up!!!

Prayers you should know the facts. Cops are required to take a missing person report immediately without undue delay.

On a side note this just enhances my belief that there is no "God."

According to the article in the paper it said they couldn't take a missing person report until after curfew.

Cops are required to do a lot of things. Doesn't mean they do them.

The paper is wrong as usual. Curfew has nothing to do with filing a missing person report.

Will county is responsible for the poor roadway that continually floods and caused this accident.

Parents should get an attorney. Go after the county. That was an accident waiting to happen. If not the county, then the twp road commissioner.

Although I wouldn't word it that way, I'd ask the same thing. What were these kids up to out in the middle of nowhere with no supervision and that late at night?
it wasnt late at nite

One of the girls was reported missing at 5:30 pm. So obviously the accident happened early and went unnoticed until the next morning.

A flooded road is not the counties fault.

What are ya stupid. If there was water running over the bridge because of the high water level of the creek the road/bridge should have been closed. Common sense should always prevail.

JJCAtty: Yes, the driver should have had "common sense". We don't need or want the government to eliminate every risk in life.

I do agree with you. However, if the creek was flowing over the bridge deck that is another matter. Either County or Township should have closed off the road. I am just sad over this.

First off, my sympathy goes out to all family and friends of all four victims. What a senseless tragedy! Lets please leave out all tha name calling etc. This isn't the place or time for it. Thanks. I believe ROADway conditions are the townships responsibility. AS for water OVER the bridge... that would be a higher authorities responsibility.
