There is a police officer in diamond that loves to pull people over for seatbelts. He is constantly going aftet the same people even when they have their belts on,isnt this harrassment.Do the police here do any police work or are they simply collecting money from the locals? Its a shame that when the breakins occured, the damage to cars and property in the summer and the local jerks were messing with the kids and the park the cops didnt do a damn thing, but god forbid wear your seatbelt or were taking your money.Thank you Andy Griffith and Barney Fife.

stop breaking the law a holes the the cops will have time to do real police work instead of protecting stupid people from themselves or keep on not wearing your seat belts and get in an accident and sue the pd for not telling u to wear your seatbelt then they can waste more time telling your family u were hurt or even killed because u can't be bothered to wear your seat belt thanks for reading happy motoring

I don't always wear my seatbelt. If I get caught I pay the fine. I don't piss and moan about it. Same goes for speeding. If u get caught its just a matter of wrong place wrong time. It's not like the fines are astronomical. If u don't wanna pay then don't play. Wear ur seatbelt and drive the speed limit. I mean think about it. Think about all the money u made and time u have saved by not wearing ur seatbelt and speeding. Ok. Now u gotta pay a little fine. Probably less than $200. In the game of life ur still ahead. Right?

I guess the post wasnt clear enough"even when your seatbelt was on".Dear barney if this is you posting than you should be helping your local people not bringing more hardship than people already have. You swore to uphold justice not bleed people dry,if your police chief cant figure this out whats going to happen next election, will there be enough money in the budget to have all these officers on the payroll. What will you do when your job is downsized,I see with all the jobs being created lately 10.00 an hour is good pay.

Maybe you get pulled over so much because you are a dirtbag and the local PD likes to screw with you?

If you are just driving by, how do you know they were pulled over for a seat belt violation? Maybe they were speeding or driving erratically.

Why do you think that locals should have the right to break the law? I am a local. I've lived here for many years. I have never been stopped. The cops are just doing their job. Many of us who have had close calls with some of the knuckleheads on the road appreciate the job they do. These people work to keep our community safe and in the case of the seatbelts sometimes they work to keep people safe from themselves.

Follow the law and you don't have to worry about them collecting your money.

This is for the morons not paying attention to current events. All towns are experiencing money issues,if their not raising your taxes their writing tickets either driving, grass to tall, not doing street maintenance, take your choice. So people get your head out of your rear and take a look at whats happening. How many homes are sitting empty, whats the local economy like, whats the longterm outlook for you and yours

Dear joker im from frankfort our taxes doubled in 8 years,we had our own court once a month it got so busy from traffic tickets the judge was throwing them out 10 at a time.Towns like orland, tinley, new lenox and frankfort are having money issues.I used to work in all these areas but now they are contactor unfriendly to many regulations to follow all money related. The same thing is happening now in theses little towns.Instead of. people working together to try to stop this money/power grab they talk crap and dont have a clue

New to Town you need to learn what period is and how to use it.

And just because a judge dismisses a ticket doesn't mean it was issued in error.
