Altura Credit Union to close two branches, cut 35 jobs
Riverside-based Altura Credit Union announced Friday that it will close two branches and cut 35 positions in a move to reduce costs in a tough environment for financial institutions.

Wait, This can't be. Jim Ayers said SJ was doing fine, bringing all kinds of money. Now Altura is gone and the City is laying off employees. Jim what happened?

Less than a year later they are closing another branch and laid off an additional 13 people. Even though the year end report looked fairly positive.

"well, I'll tell you BJones, I got greedy, pocketed alot of money, accepted bribes, didn't report income on my tax return and got caught, but Wait a minute, my wife Nancy still sits on the San Jacinto Unified School District board and gets paid for not attending the meetings. I'm living off of her salary at the moment. If we are found innocent, we will relocate out of state and I will run for mayor in another town and screw them too".
