It seems all involved in this terrible accident are very fortunate to be alive. Thank God for all the grace, mercy and now, healing..which must be shared by all. It is in just such an event, we must all be thankful..in..'there; but for the grace of God, go I'. I pray each person recovers very well. Everyone else! Please drive very carefully; especially during these holidays. Thank you.

Villa, 27, is a migrant worker who lives in Coachella.
Does this mean he snuck across our border without permission? If so we need to go after those who hired him. Why stop at Meg Whitman?
The guy was a dirtbag in Mehico and now he is a dirtbag here, costing the citizenry lots of $$$ and pain and suffeering. Why are we allowing this to go on???

Wow, wrong place at the wrong time. Folks, just stay at home. There are cars that can do over 200 MPH and some that can not safely pass. Unless you really need to be there just stay at home.

As a firefighters mamma, and one who was just involved in what could have been a fatal hit and run this article SICKENS us.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to our fellow firefighting family.
Hit and run charges...why is it that the immigrant population takes advantage of our system?? WE CONTINUE TO ALLOW IT. Go to Mexico and try not to have insurance, or carry a firearm.

But first take anything they may own and then throw them over the border. A catapult might be useful.

Maybe he is legal, but I doubt it. Migrant worker is probably accurate. What Pancho Villa is, now that is the important thing, more than legal or illegal. Not licensed, a reckless driver, not insured. A criminal is what is he, and we the taxpayers are probably paying his very substancial medical bills. California should submit his bills to the Mexican Consulate for payment. And don't give him A#1 treatments, just enough to heal him and deport him.

C'mon Sam Farr, do something beneficial. Help prevent this sort of thing from happening and get rid of the illegal bums and their anchor babies.

whether legal or not, licensed or not, He is still a firefighter serving our community..this was a terrible accident and the issue here shouldn't be wether or not to deport him but how to help prevent accidents like this from occuring so frequently.

You seem to have way too much free time on your hands!

You must be retired and bored.

Right back atcha! Time is relative. Sam is part of the problem. It would be nice if he started being part of the solution. If that sentiment pizzes you off, tough.
