thats what i was thinking, and not just one. have one for every person in the car,so somebody else dont blow in it for you.Make it standard equipment in all cars, trucks and motorcycles ... for everybody. It is really safety equipment like airbags. End of the DUI problem.

How are you punished by getting all drunk drivers off the road?
Are you saying that your safety isn't worth 2-3k?

Actually, Paul is not a Religious Zealot, he is just trying to help his constituents to the best of his ability. I for one think that the interlock on the first DUI is a good thing, if they change the current standard for installation. Currently you have to attend your ARD and Rehab classes prior to the installation on the second DUI. This leads to numerous third DUI's with the mandatory Felony conviction and 10 year loss of Driving license. If the person has 2 in under 5 years they have a problem.
Yeah its a pain in the butt to use the interlock, but here is the fact of the matter, YOU SCREWED UP! Every grade school child knows about DUI, there is no excuse. period. end of story.
