Every interaction between a Boro police officer and a citizen should be video or at the very least audio taped.
There are officers who abuse their position, and the power that comes with it.
So when someone enters your house with the intent to harm you, steal your cheap stuff, etc., the responding officer should call time out, call in the videographer, wait until he/she shows up to record the interaction, and then assist you in your time of need?

Go ahead and say something about dash cams or something, cuz those things are attached to the car. Unless, of course, you'd like the officer to line the camera up before making his entry to save your arse.

Many police departments/law enforcement agencies are reinterpreting their state's Wiretap Acts to arrest people who video record bad behavior by the police.

A man in Maryland was arrested 10 days after posting his video on YouTube, filmed with his motorcyle helmet-cam, showing an officer draw a weapon and over react during a traffic stop. The ACLU is involved.

A Chicago artist was trying to challenge the peddler license law and video taped his arrest to use in court for his defense. They dropped the peddler violation, a misdemeanor, to charge him with a wiretap felony. The State Supreme Court ruled in the DA's favor after he appealed his conviction.

This doesn't mean that one should cower in fear, or allow injustice to stand (especially when it comes to those we entrust our safety with) but it does mean you should be careful.
Attorneys have a bad reputation as a whole, but NOT talking to one can cost you more than you save by not paying their fee.

**I am not related to, nor friends with, any attorneys or employees of law offices. My total experience with local counsel has been to pay a consultation fee and sign a contract with one earlier this year...and I haven't heard anything from them since! ;)

I think Jim & Vicky should contact EVERY criminal defendant in the state. None of them are guilty.
If you don't believe me, ask them.

The jails are packed with innocent people. Hell, even if they did it, it wasn't their fault, if they weren't framed they were entrapped. They are all victims of the system.

Thank god for Jim Tuttle!
He's not afraid of tough investigative journalism.
He tells it like it is. Oh, and remember IT's NOT A LIE AS LONG AS HE BELIEVES IT!!!
