I heard the hearing is to be on 4/10/08 in Clymer Pa. The inmates she was to be having the sex with are going to be there. They are all Black convicts.

let the law decide don't attack each other. brandy hasn't said anything that really is questionable. why did shannon do this stuff, what was she thinking? i don't think any thing here says anything about the families values people do stupid crap. i know brandy and she was walked off the premisis at pine grove for not filling out time sheets right but that is no reason to put her down for not being able to have kids. when you think about it werent they both wrong. calm down folks.

To the readers of this! Her reference to having a child with a person who she did not marry makes no difference. If these people are in love , thats better than 50% of most married couples in the USA. What has happened, is the public poll has convicted her on a inmates word. If you wish to believe everything you read in the paper,or trust a "CON"vict words, contact the New York Times.They are always right.BULL S***.! If you are offended by the past comments, TO BAD. don't start making your own conclusions without the facts. Her actions are going to be judge by someone greater than us. CLYMER - A teacher at a state prison waived her right to a preliminary hearing Thursday on allegations that she engaged in sexual activity with three inmates in her classroom.

Indiana County prosecutors withdrew the most serious charges that had been filed last week against Shannon Wasicki, of Indiana. Two counts of institutional sexual assault - both third-degree felonies - were dropped when Wasicki appeared for a scheduled hearing in the Clymer district court.

Wasicki, 37, will face adjudication in the Indiana County Common Pleas Court on three counts of official oppression, which are second-degree misdemeanors.

An agent of the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections Bureau of Professional Conduct filed the complaint based on interviews with four inmates at State Correctional Institution Pine Grove, a top-security prison that houses juvenile and adult offenders along Route 286 east of Indiana in White Township. Wasicki was hired there as a special-education teacher in September 2000, before the prison opened.

Two of the men told agent Gary Hiler that Wasicki performed oral sex on them in 2004, 2005 and 2006. Another said he walked into the classroom while one of the incidents was in progress. The fourth said Wasicki asked him to expose himself to her in 2005, according to court documents.

I've known Shannon for 7 years, and I certainly never considered us to be friends. BUT, unless I've missed it somewhere & she has admitted it, there is no way I believe that she did this. The last I heard, her classroom was right beside the officer's station. Dozens of people walking by could have seen right into her room at any moment. The woman never struck me as stupid. The first thing I noticed when I heard about this was that the inmates had all recently been paroled. Security at that place has a habit of "paying" inmates with rewards to say what they want to hear. And inmates do what they have to do, including lying, to survive and get back home. My initial gut reaction was that she must have done something to annoy the administration. However, that was before I heard about the custody battle. Cal, of course felony or misdemeanor charges are going to affect a custody battle. If you go to jail, and the other parent bothers to go to court for custody, they get it automatically.

bull, there is no way a prison would ever risk the lives of all in the area just to get her, . I know gary hiler and he is an outstanding human being, he investigated this- then it is true. Don't make her the victim-her and the old principal were so tight she could have gotten away with anything and she forgot it was a new administration. Oh please its over custody, come on all its over is shannon got caught doing something and they have pleaded it down since she has no record. Don't make her the victim- and about their parole that just means that they had nothing to loose for telling the truth, they certainly wouldnt want to tell on her while in the system-or they may find themselves unable of parole. if you ask me shannon just got a slap on the wrist but there is no way she is the victim, they really do investigate things so tightly they must have had some real evidence-they don't take security that lightly and for more than one to say it-sorry.

Mami, The Charges are what they are. The statutes will not permit a change in agreements. If she goes to jail, of course the other will have custody.
