Today while pulling out of one of Walmart's parking spaces I noticed a girl of about 8 years old deliberately throwing a wadded napking on the ground. When my vehicle was besides the family grouping I stopped and directed this next comment to the parents that were oblivious to the matter. I said " Sir, it seems to me that your younger daughter dropped her napkin." pointing at the piece of paper on the ground. Both parents looked at me like if I was speaking Chinese; I repeated myself three times before the older sister got what I was saying and explained it to their parents.
I was with my grandaughter waiting for the traffic light by the Rib Crib's parking lot, commenting on the litterbug incident when a black sportscar rounded from Prince street into the parking lot when I see the driver toss out of his window a large beverage!

Two litterbug incidents within less than 3 minutes. I have to police my yard and every day the wind brings in burrito wrappers, Mcdonalds boxes, diappers; today the wind brought a large cardbord box and a Sonic's aluminum burger wrap.

No self discipline, education or values.....ther should throw themselves on the ground!

I was at the Portales Walmart and saw a woman fill her engine up with 2 quarts of oil, then throw the used containers on the ground. This place is such a f-ing sh!t hole.

I love the BIG anti-Obaomao sign as well!!:)
As for the litter there in Portales, I'm sad to say it's a very widespread problem throughout New Mexico. I lived in the Albq area from 1990-2004, and I'm sorry to say that of all the states that I lived or traveled in, New Mexico was without doubt the TRASHIEST place I ever saw! You name it, you could see it in parking lots, on/beside ANY road, and blown out in the open spaces! IMHO, it's some sort of cultural thing that's inexplicable. And this despite the fact that NM had (and I suppose continues to have) a very widespread "anti-littering" educational program. Sad what people are doing/have done to that beautiful state.:(
