As a police officer I feel people like this should be punished as much as possible! No, he isn't a cop but for crying out loud, your no better than the POS's that you keep in line at the prison! Trafficking to an inmate is the dumbest thing you could do! What is wrong with some people? Like no inmate was gonna tell on you?

Getting hooked up with an inmate is not a good career move in general, drugs and trafficking are even worse.

Great idea. Sell fake drugs to a prison gang. He was stupid for doing what he did, but i dont think he was that dumb.

What is this world coming too? You would think that any man/woman in uniform would try to be a leader not a drug dealer! This on top of a Elected official in NY trying to get a prostitute!? Im talking about the Governor of NY....And to think these people are probably wanting to be our president one day! I am a die hard democrat but I must say, first Clinton did what he did and now another democrat doing something just as bad! This isn't making the Democratic party look good at all!

Some people cant resist the temptation. The amount of money that can be made from bringing only tobacco into a prison is ridiculouse. You start with dope and coke and your talking thousands of dollars.

Yes its bad, but we must remember there are many more Indiana State Correctional Officers doing a difficult and dangerous job with little or no public support and the sad thing is the only time you here about a Correctional Officer is when they do something wrong, you never here the great things they do on a daily basis to keep the public safe. Dont judge the many by the actions of a few.

omg i tink he wasnt very smart for doing this. he was 26 and he should have known better than to do this type of thing. if he was a responsible adult he would be setting a good influence on the younger kids such as a 5 year ols or maybe a 10 year old that maybe watching this kind of thing.

It is sad that the only time that you hear anything about a correctional officer it's only bad. Every single day Correctional staff protect society from people that are a danger or threat to society. They supervise violent offenders and sexual predators day in and day out with little or no appreciation. They are underpaid, understaffed, and overworked. We rarely hear about the daily occurances such as staff assaults, weapons/drugs in our prisons, offender disturbances, and how these are overcome by the INDOC staff.

The sad thing is this man done a very stupid thing, and he should be punished just like everyone else with drugs. But on the other hand having worked in a correctional institution before I do know that these people will pay someone big money to traffic in stuff to them. Maybe he really needed the extra money, however this is still no excuse for what he did.

But you would sure hear it if one of us hurts one of them while protecting ourselves to make sure we get home our loved ones.

I like my job as a corrections officer, and as a friend of the felon i would just like to advise everyone that it dont matter who someone is they could be doing anything. I had no idea he was doing any of this but he was and that is all that matters. He deserves what he gets for it and so does everyone else that does it. I would have told on him if i knew and so should everyone else. So to everyone else involved with an offender you better watch yourself cause you will be caught and i might just be the one to tell.
