It's nice to see that the criminals don't get any smarter while behind bars.

I'll bet it was because he was missing his boyfriend in the joint. Couldn't bear to be without him, so he did this to get put back in stir.

some i think do get "smarter" - they have enough self esteem to commit other crimes so thay can go back behind bars so they don't have to put up with everyday things like we do. They dont have to worry about jobs, food, bills, cars, mortgages, nothing. To them that is life on easy street, and we have to foot the bill, so I think in their eyes, in a sick and demented way, they are getting the upper hand because we are supporting them. What a life huh?

There seem to be an epidemic in our country where people want to be in jail. Thet would rather have three meals a day a nd cable television for free then get a job and pay for this themselves. I do not know if it lazziness or what but jail is easier on them. This really sucks too. My husband works two jobs and I work part time after taking care of my baby all day and we don't even have cable. Some peoples priorities are different them mine I guess.

The sad thing about society today is that I feel you are more correct than you think with this statement.

I guess that means that releasing him from prison in the first place was an incredibly stupid thing to do.

So you think that he just couldn't bear to leave his brother's behind?

I am not sure his goal was to go back to prison. I just think he is an impulsive idiot who takes what he wants with no thought about who it effects. Trash, trash, trash. I am sure once released again he will go right back to where he left off.

Why was a convicted felon in a county jail, not a state pen? When i first read it i thought it sounded more like Marion county. I think we need to take the "comforts" out of the jails. They are not entitled to them, the screwed up, make them pay with some misery. Hopefully this will serve as a lesson to the county prosecutors, who am i kidding, he will be out on bond in another couple of hours.
