After all the grief local whiners (the ones who don't go to the field, just like to whip up trouble) gave the last superintendent, it's a safe bet no one in their right mind would want the job. I don't blame this guy for staying out of the fray.

Don't fret Gettysburg, but Poole knows well the issues and problems at Gettysburg, that's why is not a candidate for the full time job. He will only be in a maintenance mode or caretaker role for the next 12-18 months until the new person is selected. No changes just status quo. Save you arrows for the new selectee.
