Thanks MOM I appreciate the kind words.

Just me isn't interested in finding out where or why we are spending tax dollars. Is not inteerested in holding govt. accountable to their employers the taxpayer.
Those are the only reasons I'm in this thread.
Government, at a level we can easily influence, is having to spend money not budgeted for (repair/replace OCDC vehicle) I would like to find out if that opportunity for damaging an OCDC vehicle needed to happen.

OCDC is always in Cloudcroft. Because they have jurisdiction in the county, they pull people over on the road to Cloudcroft. There is always one Sheriff's Officer who sits and waits for speeders, pulls them over, and usually heads in to Cloudcroft. State Police also go to Cloudcroft, as well as Motor Transportation Division. They all have jurisdiction there. What's they problem with them being in Cloudcroft?

Sorry, that should have been an "OCSD" vehicle, not an OCDC vehicle.

Again, you are not interested in holding government accountable either. You are sitting on topix b i t c h i n g about it to us instead of calling OCDC and asking yourself.
Thanks Barb. That's right! I said thanks Barb! I mean it.

All are of the same department. A deputy was using the vehicle. Nothing nefarious on the part of the OCSD or OCDC. The perp on the other hand....is pretty dumb.

It would be nice if our sheriff came out and said that.
Not seeing that anywhere.

The city, county, state, or federal employees are not going to openly post on topix. What did OCDC say when you called them?

He does not have to. If he spent his days responding to the likes of you he would not have time to run the department. I am sure he is not reading this. At least I hope not.

I have communicated with him and he does NOT have more important things to do than justify himself to his employers.
Still waiting for a response

The jail was split off into the county admin and out of SO some time ago. Jail cars mainly transport prisoners and deal with house arrest as I understand it.
