Good luck parents!!!! It is YOUR right, and YOUR responsibility to monitor and maintain your children's education. Do not allow those who are on a power trip, or who think they know better (when, oh, they've never even MET your children, for example) to make decisions about your child's future without taking you, your children, and your teachers into account. Kudos to these parents for taking up the fight for their kids!! Take heed School Board, these parents are in it for THEIR KIDS! Not for their salaries!!

For any of you that might feel bad if Tommy ends up stepping down, don't!. I have it on very good authority that he is collecting a state pension from being a superintendent of a Texas school. Crossing state lines is one of the most lucrative ways for retired superintendents to collect multiple pay checks without breaking pension rules. And you wonder why our school systems are broke. This needs to stop!

The morale at Cloudcroft Schools has been in a downward spiral since Hancock took office. This has to stop, and the best place to start is at the top.

There's no GOOD reason for ANYBODY who isn't teaching to make over 100,000 dollars. These "Administrators" who sit at a desk and drink coffee all day, looking at a computer screen and texting their wives/families are simply not essential enough to justify their HUGE SALARIES.

She does have children in the school but there is no bias here. She has told it like it is with no personal spin on anything. I have seen her at board meetings and then read the report she writes and there is nothing slanted whatsoever. You obviously have no idea what you're talking about but, you're compelled to write something anyway right? Get a life.

You do not penalize the students and call it a budget cut! Especially considering the fact that you have bloated staff in NON productive positions in that tiny school board. In case you haven't noticed, the GIG is up. Bloated bureaucrats all over the country are getting the notice of the people, and they have had it.

This is a travesty. Those kids should be going 7 days a week instead of 4. Even with 7 a week I doubt they could get a proper education.

Why don't they compromise? Change the hours of school. Example..8:30-2:30. Of course, I'm not aware of Cloudcroft's current schedule. Take an hour off of each day.

Whats the big deal about 4-day school week? What do these parents do for holidays, christmas and spring break, along with summer break? Its not the school's job to figure out what your going to do with your kids when the school is closed.
