I did not make this clear, I was responding to the very first post about being a trojan. Sorry for any confusion. By the way, Daphne is very happy sleeping by me right now. Had she been at Sonny Aris "shelter" she would not be where she is now. Would she have found another family? maybe but she seems VERY happy with me and that would NEVER have happened had she gone to this very high Cost shelter with a woman with a bad disposition ( that is putting it kindly).

Dogs are very forgiving. I am sure Daphne would have found a happy home if she would have been at Animal Village.

Where's Sunny now? I heard that she's quite ill and was kicked out of the shelter she was running. She once sued the local shelter and lost. She might be more successful if she tried now.

You are too stupid for words.

No, I wouldn't, but by YOUR statement of, "That homeless guy won't lick his butt and then let you kiss him either", YOU'RE ASSuming that he wouldn't. Or were you just plain high as a kite when you wrote that? I'd bet on it!
Where are the 600 plus dogs that your organization has adopted out with 200 hundred there at any one time is questionable. No one should have hundreds of dogs in their possession especially companion animals who weren't meant to be caged up and kenneled for extended periods. Such "shelters" should be questioned. As for best friends in Utah, it is questionable too that the kill rate for shelter pets is what is being reported by some. Such pets are being killed daily and statistics aren't available and accurate for all the animals being killed since it's not reported in an appropriate manner or at all at some place. Best Friends has done some good, but they have become quite "famous", well known and have a lot of PR that brings money in, and locally Sunny is all about PR too in some respects and certainly has to be benefiting from what she is doing. Some people do from the heart others see dollars signs and that is their motivation. A sad day for animals to wind up in her shelter and remain for so longs as some do. We met a dog and man who the man said, the dog had been at AV for 1 1/2 years and the dog was having to work out some issues. Who wouldn't have issues after being there for so long. That's ridiculous.

Some claim the killing rate at shelters has gone down from up to 20 million in 70s to 80s to 2-3 million at this time....don't believe it. The numbers of animals in homes has over doubled since then, and there's no central reporting agency for the killing of innocent animals. It appears to be just more PR. Irresponsible pet owners continue to cause this problem to continue.

This post was meant to be posted to the quote Sunny Aris had made not to where it was posted.

Volunteers work with all those dogs and each one is given individual attention. Volunteer and find out for yourself.

If you want to have a little fun with "Aris" run a credit check like we did in Ruidoso. Then ask her who she was before she showed up in Ruidoso. She'll threaten to sue and call you a few choice words, but never answer that question.

What does Ruidoso know that Otero County should know?

Well Bug off. When an individual brings up something, it is brought up because of the information acquired at the time. Halloween and Christmas have nothing to do with it! So get real.

Rumor has it Sunny stalked a man so he would work at AV. She even told him he could enter a pyramid and pay $400 to work there and would have an opportunity to win all the profits from the funds obtained in the pyramid. The rumor also says this mans girlfriend finally called Sunny and told her to leave her boyfriend alone. We know how rumors are, therefore validation of the truth of this rumor is ongoing. It is interesting however.
