NM Gov. Susana Martinez suspends $575,000 in payments to Carlsbad
Gov. Susana Martinez's administration has suspended $13.5 million in funding for 122 capital projects statewide, including nearly $1 million in Eddy County, because it says local governments are behind on audits.

Wise choice! I just left that nothing state and moved to Texas. Even the smallest, dirtiest town in Tennessee is better than Carlsbad, NM!

this is a prime example of lazy government workers
government workers lazy.... what is new about this?
in the past giverment workers were paid less than private workers to compensate for their lower productivity,
however unions have raised their salary above the private sector

How about we quit sending out tax dollars up there and do what we see fit locally. Instead of sending it there, letting it go through the corrupt machine, then begging for it back. Same goes for federal.
