Smart move. Helps those who fight fires -- inform the citizens and visitors...NO FIRE USE until we get some rain events -- not just 1 or 2 but several!

Better late than never which is the usual case. They are too interested in always having one big party for the good old boys and not for the quility of life improvement for every one,I am surprised they did this. What are thy going to do if people do not comply, hand cuff them and shoot they .They approve a county law man to do that in the past, what leadership

They should close the forests now. There are too many careless and selfish visitors there every weekend.

They always give the turkey hunters the opening weekend to hunt - then they'll close it.

That forest does not belong to them. It belongs to all of us. Leave it open.

Ok when the forest catches on fire, we can count on you to bust your hump helping fight it, right?

I did not read that the forest would be closed, jjust restrictons on usage that can cause a fire which can lead to loss of life and structures.

Water is becoming more important in the west as people are slowly realizing it is a resource that we cannot take for granted, and with old established water rights and political appointnments over the years, the average person will be the one who has to suffer for those who make the decison concerning water rights.

Forests have been catching on fire long before you ever got here and will be burning long after you are gone. Fire is good for forests!

I believe you didn't plant that forrest. I bet money it was there when you moved in. Fire comes with the territory. If you can't stand living in the mountains then you need to move. Just because you live there doesn't mean you own all of it. Use your noggin for something besides ignorance.
