65 beds wont be enough. There are just too many that need support.

with you, 65 beds isn't enough. They need a bigger hospital with beds for adults too. Open up the old state buildings they used to house the mentally ill in...you know, the buildings that were still in operating condition when Regan opened them all up and let them all go free? On medication that is... drugged up and free.. Nice... real nice.
the great plan to normalize and put them in society isn't working very well. For them or for society.

Too bad it's just for kids. There are several legislators that could benefit from a little "rest" at someplace similar.

Nice that the state Dept of Health is more concerned about competition and the bottom line ($) rather than getting care for people who need it. Greedy b*st*rds

Let's first commit the DFL legislators to a psych ward -- they clearly need it and we'd all be better off. Why do a group of not very bright state legislators get to decide where people build hospitals? People suffer while these buffoons pretend to be legislators.

Ok that's fair enough, but I don't think it's fair to imply that everyone who has mental health issues needs to be basically locked up with the key thrown away. I do hope that your MIL stays safe. Maybe jail would be a good option for the person that's trying to hurt her.

I didn't imply they all need to be locked up all the time, just that we need the option again. family's have been being murdered since they let these folks free. There is no place that will take them anymore.
and remember, these folks are your neighbors.
