The way some of these spoiled brats run around with a lack of discipline and have parents that think its cute i would say is more of a drain on society or at least will be a drain on society shortly. My dogs will not be on welfare, do not need state health care, will not need the state to subsidise their education, will not need special ed services, they will not go around causing crimes. So yes, i think in some cases a dog is of more value and less drain on society than many children. You are also paying taxes on all the pet supplies you buy for your dog. Veterinary care is also taxed. You don't get any tax breaks for having a dog but you do for a kid. And your stimulus check is smaller.

The judge in ths case is a blooming idiot! The driver was legal in driving down a road. The dogs owners allowed the dog to run in the road. Ya dogs do run away, we had one that did and we knew if the little beast run into a car it was OUR fault!

Bob wrote: Sorry to inform you but if your prized dog is caught chasing a deer at this time of the year by a game warden your dog WILL BE SHOT DEAD! So if you allow your dog to get into that position you will be fighting with a game warden, BTW they carry tasers so don't be doing any drugs when picking a fight with a game warden. Good Luck! You best learn the law in order to protect your dog and yourself. ========== <quoted text> I was replying to another comment, you should really read everything before you comment on things, I live in the heart of the city, have yet to see a deer in my neighborhood in the 5 yrs I've been here, don't think I really have to worry about the dog chasing any deer.

The point is dogs are loved by their owners but if a dog acts against deer they are killed. I worked in Minneapolis and security cameras got photos of deer eating out of a dumpster in the ally behind the Federal Reserve which if you don't know is on Hennepin Ave. Deer are all over so keep your dog in the house or on a leash this time of the year or it might be dispatched by law enforcement. Another point: if you swerve to miss a dog in the street and end up on a sidewalk on top of a dead kid do you think you will be charged? With what? All you dog lovers need to be aware of what your actions result in! ========== St_Pauly_Girl wrote: <quoted text> I was replying to another comment, you should really read everything before you comment on things, I live in the heart of the city, have yet to see a deer in my neighborhood in the 5 yrs I've been here, don't think I really have to worry about the dog chasing any deer.
