The camera's are to generate $1M per year in the first year. Let's be honest here ... its about money for the city, not about safety.

Maybe they need to lengthen the duration of the yellow light or reduce the speed limits on the west edge of town. At those speeds it's pretty difficult to stop when the light is yellow for such a short period of time. Some of the turning lanes west of Clive are a disaster just waiting to happen.
