God love him ... Wayne Mervin Gunderon ... taken too early. But you cannot keep an live-wire cooped up in a bedroom or the nursing home if they were determined on having a good life.
Wayne is mowing and getting heaven ready for the rest of us, whenever our time is up. |

1. Why was he turning a mower around on a highway? Those things can turn on a dime.
2. LMAO! Margie you were just waiting for someone named Gunderson to pass in such a manner so you post about it! Hilar!...not that the dude died, but the posting circumstances are funny. Before you bash me, people die every second from dumb mistakes. It's life. When I die from doing the truffle shuffle on my balcony railing, I hope you guys have clever comments about me. |

Well, stick around a while. I went you alive. And I'm not bashing you. I'm just so happy Mr Gunderson was doing something I'd like to be doing when I pop the final top. But you know how small towns are and everyone feels even the state highway is theirs. Remember the cute movie about the old man who wanted to pay his respects at a funeral in Wisc but had no way to get there from his home in Iowa? So he rode is lawnmower. The best part is when he gets to the Mississippi at Lansing IA, and DeSoto WI. The bridge scene on the old Lansing Bridge will make you cry ... I loved that movie but I don't advocate driving along highways on lawnmowers ... that's fersure. I've seen my share of bloodshed, that's for tootin. |

Are you a member-in-good-standing of the Order of Fire and Brimstone or in the Krewe of Vulcans? |

I like that Margie, great reply. You made me look at this situation in a whole different light. He was 78 years old and lived a full life. If he died doing something that he loved, I think that is wonderful and very rare. Thank you for taking the time to go into detail about that, I appreciate it. |

I treasure all my TOPIX pals, including you, even if I may occasionally yell at their direction. Who wouldn't love a name like yours? |

Wasn't Margie Gunderson the sheriff in the movie "Fargo"? Is that you, Margie?
