They aren't a real company at all. They move ISP's constantly and only God knows how many domain names they register, use, then every few days abandon. Bottom line is if you look at their site you'll notice the woman doctor on the front page is the actress that plays on Grey's Anatomy. Secondly, all the BBB and other certifications are fake as the reports are loaded off of their own server and not from the BBB etc. Thirdly, the address they list as their headquarters is actually a sod farm in Utah, cross reference with switchboard.com and then google earth the address and you'll see for yourself. So, with all that said, they probably aren't shipping any meds at all but are a front for collecting credit card numbers and the associated personal info they get when some fool places and order and then they sell that info on the black market. Could be wrong but I doubt it.

Well i have personally investigated and am willing to file suit for 1) fraud 2) misleading the public 3) violation of state spam laws and 4) probable illegal duplication of pharmaceutical drugs. The only way i can do this is to track them down and the only way i can do that is if you guys all collect the email headers of which they send their emails. Look online and send report them to agencies........stop bitching and actually do something about it.

If you block them thei find another way to reach your mailbox. In Holland this spam is forbidden en punished but unfortunatly not from firms out of country's other than Europe.

"Legal Action", impersonating an attorney isn't a good idea.

For everyone else:

Forget the email headers. They've had unhindered years to perfect forging them, and they're being sent through mail servers all over the globe.

Take the domain name advertised in their spam (ie: legalrx.com ) and put it through a DIG utility. You can find them online via Google search.

This gives you the IP address(es) of their site.

Put the IP through a DNS Search and you've got the name and contact information of the company where they're hosted.

THAT'S who you complain to - but don't expect much if they're hosted in certain countries outside the U.S.(ie: China and Russia). Spam is not illegal in China, which is why so much of it comes from there. Russia actually harbors spammers - I'll bet the group behind Legal RX is none other than Leo Kuvayev and crew.

For those in the U.S., new spam legislation is going to be introduced to supposedly take care of that feel-good waste of time they passed call the Can-Spam Act.

Don't expect the FTC or law enforcement to take on spam - you'll notice the lawsuits being filed are civil matters from companies like AOL, Microsoft, MySpace, and the drug companies themselves...

I suggest writing your own legislators and also Senator Carl Levin (MI) who will be introducing the legislation, and demand the major credit card issuers (Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Discover) blacklist credit card numbers found to be used to pay for domains and hosting for the purpose of spam, fraud, phish, etc. There are records of these transactions, so while everyone else thinks this pharmacy is located in Utah, their billing information off their credit card point directly to the culprit.

What if they're using a stolen card? It needed to be cancelled anyway, and now there's another reason to go after these criminals.

There also needs to be penalties for any U.S.-based webhost that ignores complaints against them

Simply put, they don't have that many credit cards, and it'll be really tough to sit in a chair and order up 100 domain names and get hosting in China with no way to pay for it online.

And don't forget that most of these operations are run by criminal rings. If that's not enough to get law enforcement, the FTC, or the FDA involved, then we'll see no end to spam and fraud unless a law is passed that actually means something.

You could create a filter that will automatically delete messages that contain "International Legal RX" in the subject line. It's a bit of a pain in the ass to create a filter for every little tid bit of spam that comes to your mail box but at least you will no longer have to directly deal with these assholes!
