Does anyone know why the lady in the big gray truck at Claxton Elem school in the afternoons gets to drive the wrong way, right up to the door and pick up her kid? Most times she doesn't even put her truck in park. Alot of times she flies up thru there with buses still sitting in the bus lane, going at them head on.

Yes you have went flying up thru there on many occasions. Not so much since you were confronted by the principal about your driving. And YES "DEAR" you do pull in when there are still buses present. Next time I will take a picture. And no none of us know his situation or yours for that matter. The child runs out the front door and gets in your truck so that tells me that he isn't physically disabled and does not take any extra time for him to get into your vehicle. You don't even go in and sign him out most of the time. There is not anything physically wrong with you that you cant drive or get out of your truck because I have seen you run up the steps a few times. If there is a legit reason why you can't go thru the line like everyone else then fine. But why can you not atleast go in the correct entrance??? The same direction as the rest of the traffic??

If what she says is true then I agree. Of course if the young man has special needs then that is understandable. But if none of this comes into play then yes you need to get in line like everyone else. Everybody has places to be and is in the same situation as you. Why should you get special treatment or be able to break the rules?

Is it the chubby woman with the mom jeans and camel-toe? Just let her pull in the wrong way - by the looks of her she has a lot of problems.

I to have seen the girl in the pick-up truck. I don't understand it either. I would love to pull right up to the front door every single day to pick up my child, mine or others that sometimes ride with me. To me it just isn't fair no matter what the circumstances are, unless it was a disability of some kind or even if the little boy has personal needs. To those of you talking bad about people posting in a forum, what in the heck are you guys doing? From what I have seen, no one on here has said anything bad about the girl or the kid. So I wonder why she thinks its ok to talk bad about other kids & weather or not they can read, the parents not teaching them & how she 'volunteered' at the school. Personally, i do not want someone who thinks this way to be teaching my child anything! Oh, and I happen to know for a fact that someone did confront her about this, she did go a bit slower afterwords, but maybe they forgot to mention going in & out the wrong way. As for the 'sad' & 'pathetic' how bad is it to find something being talked about on topix is actually about you???

You may have spent 2 years volunteering at Claxton but Honey I can promise you it wasn't teaching my child to read. My child is a straight A student, and has always been an excellent reader. I agree there are some pretty low life parents in our area that could care less about their kids education. However that has nothing to do with you driving in the wrong direction, on school property, sometimes speeding in the opposite direction of oncoming school/daycare buses. And YES you have been confronted wether you want to admit it or not. I just think you should slow down, and go in the right direction that is all.

I agree with you 100% but the sad thing is that most people only think of themselves and that it's ok because their more important... People today are very quick to use the term special needs!! It's pathetic
