I dont need to flog employees. A well placed threat of losing their job always works. If people are constantly afraid of losing their job they will do anything I tell them to do. 10 hours, 12 hours even 16 hours and have them do double the production. That is how I run things. Iron Fist!
Placing threat of losing jobs doesnt cause people to do anything you tell them to do, you idiot. It makes people paranoid of losing their jobs and they cant concentrate of doing their jobs. So all youre doing is losing employees to fire new ones. And Im sure some of the ones you fire are hard workers. You need to back off and let people do their jobs. Then youll see who the hard workers are and who really needs to be let go. And as for you Mr. Wanna-Be Big Shot, you need to worry about your own job. Cause it sounds like you dont do what your there for. So worry about yourself, and stop trying to be "in-charge". Cause obviously youre not for a reason. Get over it!!

I think it should be against the law to work a person over 40 hours a week with so many people out of work. 7 12's that is a job for 2 people with 4 hours toward another person. Companies want slaves now instead of people so they can make big bucks while the workers suffer.
I dont think it should be. If it wasnt for working 7 days a week my family wouldnt be able to pay our bills. So get over. Just because you dont wanna work all week doesnt mean other people dont. If you dont like it, work somewhere else. Im sure walmart is hiring, then youd only have to work 30hrs a week. Or you can stop complaining about all the overtime money youre making and just do your damn job.

Nice post khi. You should be in mgmt. What does everyone think about some of the other supervisors at ebm? Good, bad? Just wanna know if others feel the same I do. I think some are doing a nice job(curtis lane, mike johnson) and some (mitch, kevin hanna) aren't.
I agree! Kevin Hanna is a piece of shit. Hes a sorry excuse for supervisor.

How is 7 12's making the comapny? They are only having to pay benefits for one person instead of 2 or 3. In case you don't know a company pays a big portion of the insurane employees have. Therefore 7'12s are cheaper than 3 8's. And by the way I do not work at Eagle Bend. Just know how companies work as I have been in HR at another company for several years.
And why are you complaining about ebm working overtime if you dont work there. Mind your own damn business. If you dont work there then shut up and get back to your own job. I wish I knew where you did work. Cause im sure theyd love to know how youre on here so much. Probably while youre at work.

Eagle bend is not a joke!!! There are a lot of hard working people there that are willing to work seven days a week to provide for their family's. There are some slackers but i havent been to a job site that doesnt. I have had six day off in six months But anytime i need a day off i never have a problem getting it. I have seen some management problems since i have been here but i do see things changing. I dont care if you are from the north or from the south nothing will every be perfect. WE are working 8 hours shifts and thats all that needs to be said. There are plenty companies doing the same that are just fine.
If so many people at did not work 7-12's maybe I could get a job there to support my family. I have to work 25-30 hours a week at Walmart to try and support my family....all the people working overtime should think about people who want a job but don't have one. I am sure you know where your Christmas will come from... for me I don't...I have to use what I make to pay bills. Thank God I have no small children that would not understand.

My husband is working 7days a week and guess what? we still had to take out a loan just to pay our bills. And we dont have money to spend on christmas either. But unlike you, we do have small children. And just so you know, the people that are working 40hrs or more dont have a choice. Its called mandatory shifts. So before you run your mouth you might wanna think about what you say. Try bein laid off out of nowhere then lookin for a job for over 4 months. And guess what, walmart wasnt hiring then. So some of us need the overtime just to catch up on 4 months worth of bills.

I'm sorry I have to disagree in the time that my fiancee has worked there I have seen 3 supervisors come in and out just in B building on 2nd shift and he has been the fairest by far. MY fiancee has been one of the employees that has had to work under Mitch and I can say we are the kind of people that would give a complete stranger the shirt off our back but I would not help Mitch if he ever needed anything! that 4 ft "BOY" is going to try get a "iron fist" with the wrong person one day and get a mud whole stopped in his @$$!

Daily Horoscope for June 19

Cancer

You're in the market for a little excitement today. You don't want to raise the roof or cause a complete commotion but you would like something to happen that lifts you out of mundane, boring life. With luck you'll get just what you're looking for courtesy of a certain person who's lively and good fun to be around. A short trip will also do the trick.
