It doesn't matter what type of gun laws you have on the books. The bad guy is going to do what they want.

I don't see why these laws are even on the books. Who cares if guns are sold privatly accross state lines. More guns less greedy government goons

I agree that undercover [likely BATF officers] should not be allowed to have guns. Remember What they did at Ruby Ridge and Waco and got clean away with it? Where will these confiscated guns go to? To ATFE police officers personal collections? The 1968 gun control act is unconstitutional. The BATFE is unconstitutional. See number two and ten in The Bill Of Rights. Who has this gun law protected?
If the salesman goes to jail it will cost we taxpayers about $20.000/yr to house him, and who is he a threat to?

Ridiculous, how is an individual supposed to know they cant sell a gun just because they are in another state.

Just out of curiosity, is a gun supposed to be more deadly just because it crossed a state line?

I would have thought that, say, a Glock 22 bought from a person from Tennesse is pretty much identical to a Glock 22 bought from a person from Ohio.

It sure is a good thing we have all these politicians to pass laws protecting us from our own ignorance.(Note the sarcasim.)

Why didn't he just go register at a gun show and sell the guns? The NRA has won. What else do they want? Now I will have to strap on a coward's mechanical device to go down to the udf to buy a gallon of milk. Back to the wild west and no stools in the saloons. Let the hate begin!!

Why do some people find it so "very difficult" to operate within the perimeters of the law?

Well, I can't believe that some law enforcement people in Tennessee has arrested a man seling guns to an undercover officer. This must be a first, arresting selling guns illegally to a policeman. You see folks, the laws on the books really work. Mayors Aganist Illegal Guns should call the Violence Policy Center or the Brady bunch and tell them it works. We are glad that someone has taken the time to report this to the people . A gun law that really worked, how sweet is that.

Ohio residents may buy or sell long guns to individuals residing adjacent states.
Pistols may only be sold residents of Ohio. Individual purchasers and sellers should check the driver's license of the other party. All other interstate transactions must be conducted through FFL dealers.

According to a cop you do not operate within the perimeters of the law and there is always SOMETHING they can get someone for. Just lick their boots real nice and you can continue not worrying about it.

Another ATF orchestrated crime. They set the trap, and he walked into it. Gotta love those guys. I'm ambivalent about this type of law enforcement activity. Setting up a person to commit a crime just seems to fail the smell test.
