They should close all of them as the judges let everybody out anyway its nothing but a revolving door. The lawyers are the only ones making money. Of course they don't want it to close it may cost them gas money to go to Worcester I'm sure they don't have as many judge's in there pockets down there!!!!

What a shame. Lawyers are going to have to go on welfare. Their clients usually buy their lunches, their victorian offices will go under...no more tax deductions. Oh so sad. I feel a tear coming on. I really feel for you, but I can't quite reach you. You'll just have to start snouting around in another garbage pile.

If the volume of cases has meant that all of the courts in Mass are backed up to hear cases I don't understand how the state could consider closing any court.

A public meeting Aug. 4 in Worcester of the Trial Court's Court Relocation Committee will "seek comment on its preliminary recommendations," among which is moving Leominster District Court from its School Street location, according to Joan Kenney in the public information office of the Supreme Judicial Court.

The "when" was also in the story.

maybe they should tell the Judges to start being a little tougher on crime...maybe that would bring some extra funds in!

Hopefully the closure goes foward. Let's make Flanagen and Rosa look bad. It's about time something in Leominster CLOSES. Too many places have closed in other cities/towns OTHER than Leominster.. It's their turn.

Remember: vote them out in November!

going to fitchburg for a small claim is life threatening and Clinton is so far away that most people will swallow their claims rather than try to sue somebody by driving to Clinton for court......the hacks need to go and leave the working people alone....the judge who runs things knows where the hacks are and should start dumping them as soon as possible...no, he would rather take services away from taxpayers and try to force the legislature to give back the 21 million so the hack system continues to thrive

All the complaining seems to be about how developers and lawyers will be inconvenienced, and it has nothing to do with the wasteful spending and high cost of the court itself.
