****Take Big Stevie's word for it, this is all true. Big Stevie has been fortunate, in most cases, enough to have visited all these countries, and more.****

Heaven is a place where the police are English, the chefs are Italian, the car mechanics are German, the lovers are French, and it's all organized by the Swiss.

Hell is a place where the police are German, the chefs are English, the car mechanics are French, the lovers are Swiss, and it's all organized by the Italians.

That reminds me of something that happened to me, in the fall of 1966. I was heading back to Louisville, and the fuel pump, in my '57 Chevy, crapped out on me. I limped into Leitchfield, to the first service station I could get to, and paid the owner a dollar to use his lift, and tools. He was even nice enough to run me into town, to the auto parts store, where I bought another one for about $6, returned to the service station, and installed it myself, and all I was out of pocket was $7. Ah, those were the days!!!
I'll be darn!

PAUL RYAN LIES
Paul Ryan lied about the U.S. credit rating, the debt and deficit, Medicare, the Janesville GM plant, the stimulus, and “Protecting the Poor.” He takes Americans for suckers.
~
“Ryan went on TV and lied to his own party and the American public at large, in what was essentially his job interview.”- Lindy West.
“Paul Ryan bets on the ignorance of America.”- Dan Amira. he is worse then Sarah Palin.
“Paul Ryan pushed American politics into new territory with his convention speech, effectively daring Democrats and the media to call him out on his string of blatant falsehoods.”- Michael Tomasky.
Paul Ryan's speech at the Republican National Convention "was an apparent attempt to set the world record for the greatest number of blatant lies and misrepresentations slipped into a single political speech." - Sally Cohn.
“I have been writing about [Ryan’s] dishonesty for three years. I have the equivalent of a master’s degree in Ryan lie-ology. I’ve heard many of his lurid fantasies innumerable times...— his deep dishonesty largely reflects the fundamental gap between the radicalism of his agenda and his need for public acceptance.”- Ryan Lizza.
“This year’s Republican campaign may be the most dishonest in history.”- Juan Cole.
“One depressing aspect of American politics is the susceptibility of the political and media establishment to charlatans.”- Paul Krugman.
"[Ryan's] major lies call for a major, multi-media counter attack larger than any single ad or Obama campaign rebuttal." - Frank Rich.
ABA News Room.
Glaring lies from GOP V.P. candidate Paul Ryan’s acceptance speech.

Very seriously! I looked up each person listed and all but one indicated they were from the left. I did not say ALL the news channels, ALL the newspapers and ALL the magazines are biased, but I do think the majority of them lean liberal.

Per the Weekly Standard - THE ARGUMENT over whether the national press is dominated by liberals is over. Since 1962, there have been 11 surveys of the media that sought the political views of hundreds of journalists. In 1971, they were 53 percent liberal, 17 percent conservative. In a 1976 survey of the Washington press corps, it was 59 percent liberal, 18 percent conservative. A 1985 poll of 3,200 reporters found them to be self-identified as 55 percent liberal, 17 percent conservative. In 1996, another survey of Washington journalists pegged the breakdown as 61 percent liberal, 9 percent conservative. Now, the new study by the Pew Research Center for the People and the Press found the national media to be 34 percent liberal and 7 percent conservative.

Over 40-plus years, the only thing that's changed in the media's politics is that many national journalists have now cleverly decided to call themselves moderates. But their actual views haven't changed, the Pew survey showed. Their political beliefs are close to those of self-identified liberals and nowhere near those of conservatives. And the proportion of liberals to conservatives in the press, either 3-to-1 or 4-to-1, has stayed the same. That liberals are dominant is now beyond dispute.

You don't think liberals lie or slant the news????? They do it all the time and, as you can see, there are many more liberals in the news than conservatives.

You scream about FOX all the time and we have to deal with NBC, CNN, ABC, etc., etc.

I do know liberal outlets slant there news. Difference is facts. you blindly follow one with complete disregard for the truth. How many of these scary liberals do you actually know? The problem with "your team"is , they are complete idiots. Case in point.....

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Taurus

You seem to be operating at a slower pace than normal today, which is frustrating. Maybe you're feeling tired and listless, or you've hit a series of snags. You might also feel overwhelmed by duties and obligations, particularly if they're connected with your job or with neighborhood activities. Perhaps you need to delegate?
