To the author of this article:
Did you ever ask them what happened to the four of the adopted kids? Come on let's be honest. After reading the article, I was upset because we (the four of us that was dis-owned by Merydith and John Thomas)was mentioned that their family was doing the right thing and seven out of their 14 children were adopted! When you do print an article make sure we are not added to their number because as soon as we were old enough to being curios and wanting to find our birth parents, we were cut from their lives!!! We haven't talked to the Thomas' and in contact for 10 years because that's the way they want it. When we call to their house, we were accuse of harassing them. Even the police got involved because Merydith went psycho.. throwing our clothes outside the garage when we try to get our things from that house! I don't understand why Claire or Marjorie even mentioned us (yeah, sure they brought us here to America but for what?(And the last time Claire or Marjorie even talked to us was when Marjorie was in fourth grade and Claire was Sophomore in high school!!!!)
P.S. Ask them if they have anything to do with the four adopted children that came from the Philippines or do a story, an honest story
When we first came here in June 8, 1989, we were in the fromt page story of the Quad City Times! Wouldn't it be interesting to do a follow-up of what happened to that kind of what they said back then that they "love or was it enjoy kids"
Don't get me wrong, what Claire and Marjorie are doing are wonderful, helping those who are in needs. I am upset about the part of the four of us being mentioned ( how they adopted 7 and 7 of their own). Now I am really confused!!!!! We were disowned and we were not in contact for 10 years!!!!! Please get your story straight!!!!!

I know this family. What rose states is fact. Paz was at our house when the family kicked her out. They are a screwed up family. It was sad that the father was involved in the school system & he treated his adoptive children like shit & his natural kids were put on a pedistool with every bit of help in every way. The Thomas' are a sad family.

As I recall your brother ran over an entire family when they were camping while he was drunk. And both you and your sister were pregnant when you were in high school. You guys aren't exactly a class act, and probably shouldn't be judging anybody's family.
