i'm sad and angry over the death of tonya, her children and fran they were friends of mine.my girls and i made the cross that sits in the front yard.as we were making this cross all we could talk about is how the one preson got out ...did she not try to wake anyone up? how did she get out? was in a drunken stuper as she always is? i keep thinking about this i can't get it out of my mind...it's like 2 plus 2 and i'm coming with 3 it's just not adding up....i guess i'll never know what really happened....just sickened by the whole situation.

As Fran's sister, i would be the first to want to try to find someone to blame for this tragedy. But, when all is said and done, it is just that....a terrible, terrible tragedy. It was an accident that did not have to happen. Rather than looking for someone to blame, let's look to God for comfort and understanding. And let's not have the loss of four of our family members be in vain. Remember to check your smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors at least twice per year. DO NOT take the batteries out, DO NOT disconnect them from the detector and DO NOT cover the detector up with a cloth. If they are plugged into an electrical outlet, TEST THEM! Don't assume they are working.
Please call your local fire department if you do not have detectors. I would be willing to bet that EVERY fireman in the WORLD would assist anyone in making sure they are protected. Especially when there are children at risk. God Bless them everyone for the dedication they have to their profession.
Fran, Tonya, Tyler and Patrick: love and kisses to you all. We know where you are and we know it is a beautiful place full of love and joy and peace. We miss you! From Mom (Grandma) and Robin (Aunt) and all the rest of the family.

there's just some things about this tragedy that just don't add up.i think the fact that only one person was alert enough to get out should be investigated a little more
