Looks like Glenn has left off right were they were last season. QB Rich Czeczotka has picked up right were Ryan Rielly left off.
QB Rich Czceczotka is 116/164 1,945 yards and 27 yards and has carried the ball 95 times for 682 yards and 15 td's. Very balanced attack with RB Tom Forsberg(106 carries 981 yards and 8 td's, and as a receiver has 18 receptions for 290 yards and 2 td's) and WR Nick Wagner(34 receptions 738 yards and 14 td's and has carried the ball 6 times for 144 yards and two td's), and WR Jon Mannix(28 receptions 427 yards 8 td's). Glenn has combined for 2,341 yards and 30 td's and has passed for 1,945 yards and 27 td's, That's close to 4,300 total offensive yards and 57 td's.
John Glenn (10-1) 420-140 Points for/against Opponents won/loss combined records 61-43.

I'm glad there is a new LI high school forum. The other one was getting ridiculous.

SF won 37-16. SJCI's QB Chad Kelly did become the first NYS QB to pass for over 3,000 yards(3,045 yards 27 td's)and rushed for over 1,000 yards(1.012 yards and 14 td's) in a single season. He did have 3 big int's in the game.

Newfield 14 - East Islip 13 Good game overall. A few turnovers, 1st half EI. Second half close but the edge and the win goes to Newfield.

Attended the EI vs Newfield game. In simple words EI blew it. Why would you throw the ball three times with a first and goal at the six yard line? The whole game they were pretty much running straight up the gut. Newfield became energized after the big long td run and didn't look back. EI 14 Newfield 13

Glenn has scored 420 points for an average of 38 points a game and has given up 140 points for an average of 13 points a game. Roosevelt relies basicly on one player Erin Parker who has carried the ball 197 times for 2,272 yards and 24 td's. QB Robert Sweeeney is 29/56 501 yards and 8 td's and has carried the ball 35 times for 145 yards and 1 td. Roosevelt hasn't played against a team that can pass and run like Glenn can, Glenn has produced almost 4,300 total yards of offense and 55 td's. I watched the Seaford game and they totally shut down Roosevelt and Erin Parker who carried the ball 6 times for 10 yards and Sweeney had two big Int's in the game. Seaford won 21-6. Locust Valley also did a good job of stopping Erin Parker who carried the ball 17 times for 170 yards and 2 td's. I think Glenn will win its second LIC.

I attended the Stepinac(0) vs St. Anthony's(14) game at Mitchell Field. Stepinac did a pretty good job on defense even though SA was missing their starting QB and two of their running backs. A big Int in the second quarter which was returned 36 yards set up SA first td. They went in at 7-0 at the half. SA QB Greg Galligan was 0-2 and he rushed 13 times for 53 yards. In the second half(third quarter), Stepinac had a big fumble at SA 23 yard line which set up a big drive by SA to go up 14-0. SA did enough to win the game but the stats are probably something they want to forget. Passing 0-2-0, Rushing 47 carries for 215 yards.
In the last meeting in which SA beat Stepinac 55-29 SA's passing was 10/11 146 yards and 1 td, and rushing was 56 carries 320 yards and 6 td's.
Congradulations to St. Anthony's and Coach Reichert for his record breaking 211th victory, which broke Bellport's Coach Joe Cipp Jr's record of 210.

Looks like Lawrence rolled over Plainedge 64-33. It was an interesting first half, looked like it was going to be a high scoring game, like the Stanford vs USC game, back and forth scoring. The second half was a different story all Lawrence.

From little I saw of Roosevelt I think Glenn wins.
GC over Newfield. Too many wide eyes for the Newfield players.
