I'm surprised no one has answered you. I don't live in Clincho, but I know Shifty Powers lived almost all his life there. He was a humble, but great man, and we owe everything we have to him and many others like him who answered the call. They are deservingly called the Greatest Generation.

I'll second that. Men went into the service back then mostly for pride in country. And they didn't stick each other in the back either. The way I see it is war is hell. You don't come back from deployment and report on someone you fought beside of that he "did something illegal" or "immoral" in the field. What happens on the battleground should stay on the battleground, unless it's something heroic that needs recognition.
