yes micro brews are the thing plus have good food on a par that is above what is seen local at the right cost. the add a place to see bands rock country rap to come in. even plays or stage shows. this would bring money from out side in and could make it with out the locals going. but the boxing is a good idea. might even get a local champ or chump what ever the case some thing has to be done.

ok you had me until you mentioned the rap crap. seriously it's a great idea that, with the right minds behind it could be the shot in the arm to revitalize canajoharie. i can see a trickle down affect to the surrounding villages also. i wonder if that empire zone initiative wouldn't apply in this case? i hope that people smarter than me are reading this and it might turn the lights on upstairs to get something started. keep your fingers crossed.

That shopping plaza is huge too. Sometimes I'm overwhelmed by the options here to shop.

any one else remember when walmart proudly said they sold american made. it is the buyers blame that just about every thing is made over seas for the love of a saveings AND SCREW YOUR FELLOW AMERICANS time to start buying american made folks
If you can find it! The manufacturing base in this country has been decimated due to the off-shoring of our jobs. If you want people to buy American the government has to stop rewarding companies and telling us that we need more "trade deals" with countries like Brazil. If you notice we only need a "trade deal" when companies find that they have created a middle class in another country and now don't want to pay higher wages to that group. Just something to think about.

As long as Americans demand cheaper consumer goods but also demand higher wages this is the way it will be. The american public can't have it both ways.
