I never thought I would see a time in Moberly when it wouldn't be safe downtown. I witnessed a man and a women being attacked in the middle of the day by two thugs. One held him down while the other beat him over and over in the face. The girl was screming and kicking and yelling 911 all at the same time. It seemed that no one was offering to help. The police took forever to get there. And when they got there the thugs were never arrested. What kind of town do we live in NOW.....?
