The Wall Street Journal's Market Watch ran a report this week titled, "Obama spending binge never happened," which showed that federal spending is actually rising at the slowest pace since Dwight Eisenhower was president. At the same time, we've made strategic investments in the things we need to build an economy meant to last, like education, innovation, and clean energy. But that hasn't stopped Romney and his Republican allies from using ridiculous and laughable terms -- like "spending inferno" -- to describe the President's fiscal management. Slowest spending in decades Annualized growth of federal spending Reagan 1982-1985 8.7% Reagan 1986-1989 4.9 Bush I 1990-1993 5.4 Clinton 1994-1997 3.2 Clinton 1998-2001 3.9 Bush II 2002-2005 7.3 Bush II 2006-2009 8.1 (2009 stimulus re-assigned to Obama) Obama 2010-2013 1.4 The debt is due to lack of revenue for spending is down under President Obama. Much of our debt is from interest due on the debt ran up under President Bush, and the 2 wars started and unfunded under President Bush. Stats show Mr Romney would likely increase the debt rather than reduce it....

President Obama: Was born in Hawaii to a mixed race family; was raised by a single parent; Saw and lived in a foreign culture for a few years; Returned to Hawaii while his mother studied and completed a course in anthropology; His family was so poor, they lived on food stamps. Won a scholarship too Punahou private school. He Read More... studied at 2 Ivy League Universities. Majored in constitutional law; Was the top of his class on graduation; Turned down million dollar job offers to work with the poor, disposed, dispossessed and disenfranchised, for a pittance; Became a constitutional Professor; State senator, Senator, Has a loving highly gifted wife and well adjusted children; Has just paid off his first house; Has a net worth of 8.6 million dollars; Is the first president to pay for renovating the living quarters in the White House out of his own pocket and returned the amount allotted for this to every president, back to the treasury; Has tried to govern from the middle, much to the chagrin of the left base; Has adopted Republican ideas when he saw value in them only to have the Republicans obstruct even their own ideas; He has an outstanding list of accomplishments and successes as President and is too humble to beat his own drum about them; Has gone from poverty to President; He turned the economy around from record net job losses in the last 3 quarters of 2008 to 26 months of job creation, through his foresight and in spite unparalleled obstruction by those avowed to destroy his presidency, even if it meant destroying the economy and shattering real people’s lives. He reactivated the CIA team that was disbanded in 2006, which lead to the demise of Osama. He kept his promise that if he was found in Pakistan he’d go after him and made the correct gutsy call. He saved the Auto Industry, 1.14 million jobs in it and a further 2 million that depend on it, that Mitt wants the credit for now. Obama is the consummate success story and he pulled himself up by his own boot straps and the knowledge of who he is tears the Republican Party apart--

They have to come up with new lies to combat facts, and that takes too much time away from doing what they do best. Hateing the President.

http://www.youtube.com/watch... Never a clearer choice. More re-distribution of wealth from Obama or grow your own wealth and take personal responsibility from Romney. In other words work to be successful yourself instead of depending on other peoples' hard work and sweat because the government takes from the working class and gives to the ones who won't work. Is this what American wants ? Take from one and give to another !

Obama Reaches His Highest Likelihood of Reelection Huffington Post The headline would not surprise regular followers of the election; both aggregated polls and expectations created from polls have been telling that story. What is impressive is the trend and magnitude of the movement in last few weeks (i.e., since the ... See all stories on this topic »

Approval of President Obama’s handling of foreign policy has taken a beating since last month, according to a new NBC/WSJ poll taken after violence erupted last week in Egypt and Libya. The poll found approval among registered voters dropped to 49 percent, down from from 54 percent a month earlier, NBC’s FirstRead reports. The fall was steeper among independents, going from 53 percent in August to 41 percent. Even support among Republicans dropped eight points — from 19 percent to 10 percent. And this was taken before the recent news of the Obama administration being warned by the Libyan Government 3 days before the attack. How would Obama have know , he only attends 44% of his security briefings.

You need to recheck your numbers Obama leads Romney by 5 to 7 points in everything and every group except white rich men. But considering you are unable to do simple math of 19-8=11 so I know numbers are not you thing.

Tax the middle class and give tax breaks to the rich. Isn't that redistribution of wealth, DUH? Greed at the top is what is hurting this country. All the loop holes in the tax system is for the rich. 7000 million-aire's paid zero% tax. NONE. Now that is redistribution of wealth big time. Take from the middle class and give to the rich. Isn't that Robin Hood in reverse, Joe Plunber?

Hoax Change wrote: How would Obama have know , he only attends 44% of his security briefings. When Washington Post columnist Marc Thiessen and the Government Accountability Institute reported that President Obama has attended less than half of his Presidential Daily Briefs (PDBs) on intelligence, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney called the findings "hilarious." The next day, U.S. Libyan Ambassador Chris Stevens and three American staff members were murdered. According to Mr. Carney, Mr. Obama doesn't need in-person briefings because the president gets the written version on his iPad: He gets it every day, okay? The President of the United States gets the presidential daily briefing every day. There is a document that he reads every day when he is not -- well, he always reads it every day because he’s a voracious consumer of all of his briefing materials. But now, in an apparent 180-degree reversal, the White House official calendar shows that for the last four days Mr. Obama has ditched his iPad and has instead opted for the live briefings. That's a good thing. As Mr. Thiessen explains, the live briefings are far preferred over the written daily intel reports, because they offer presidents and their advisors an opportunity to drill down into intelligence threats and to challenge assumptions. "This process cannot be replicated on paper," says Mr. Thiessen. Still, Mr. Carney owes Mr. Thiessen an apology. Carney said Thiessen's report was "hilarious" and flippantly dismissed the need for Mr. Obama to attend live intelligence briefings. Then, after four Americans were murdered and Mr. Obama's foreign policy approval rating plunged, Mr. Obama has now decided to actually start showing up for his daily presidential intelligence briefings, just as Mr. Thiessen urged him to do. Mr. Obama's newfound interest in attending his daily intelligence briefings won't undo last week's horrific events in the Middle East. But perhaps it may help in preventing similar atrocities in the days ahead. " Prevent similar atrocities in the days ahead " Let's just "hope" it does. About time he is doing the job he was elected to do.

This post has a familiar ring,Romney's remark during the $30,000 a plate luncheon, that an upheaval in the Mideast may salvage his campaign?Who in God's name would want terrorists to rule their country?? If Romney was gloated thinking the Arabs's murderous binge was salvation to him, that makes him a terrorist as well! The Arabs terrorize for material gain, and political reasons, too.
