From the teachers to dress code, if you have a problem let it be known.

I'm about to get fired up!.. The dress code is really lame and half of it has no good reasoning behind it. Guys tucking in their shirts and piercings are a lot more important for some reason than the the girls showing off most of their breasts and crouch! It seems like EVERYBODY up their dips during school and a lot of students walk into school drunk or high and the teachers don't even notice it! Some of those teachers don't have a clue what their doing and yet have no buisness trying to do something they aren't good at. And they reallyyyy need to start drug testing their athletes up there! Your precious cheerleaders smoke weed and the football players aren't any different! Anything else you wanna know about? It's ridiculous up there in that bug invested, non air-conditioned, piece of crap!

Who cares if the student body smokes weed? It doesn't affect their athletic performance which is all they care about. And, where is the money for drug tests coming from?

I do! I don't want my school being represented by a bunch of potheads! I don't know where it's coming from but we found money for a swim team, new score board, keeping Sharon & Boiling open, apparently they're getting new band uniforms, etc. I didn't say everyone needed tested either.

You said football players and cheerleaders, that's a lot of people. We could have more potheads or even worse heroin addicts. But we don't so suck it up, count your blessings, and get to know a pothead, you might like em.

Oh, and you're saying drug tests are more important than keeping a school open?

Whatever, you're right. People should ruin their lives with drugs. I mean, some people do start up with weed and so eventually do end up on HEROINE. If we tested them now & they got in trouble and had to stop then it could change their lives for the better. And btw, I DO have friends that smoke weed but, I hate to see them messed up. I care about people and I don't like seeing them in drugs, that's why I feel strongly about it!.. In ways, yes. I've talked to people that went to Boiling Springs and from what they told me it wasn't in the best condition & I know personally that Sharon isn't. I'd hate to see Sharon closed but, our school system doesn't have a lot of money and if that's what it takes for us to get things then maybe they should close or at least only run parts of the school. Those schools are no where near full capacity!

Saying weed leads to cocaine is saying milk leads to alcohol. You need to open your mind before you make such a judgement
The schools aren't at full capacity but you have to think about the distance these children would have to travel and the cost of more gas, more buses, and more drivers. Sharon is in fine condition, it's the high school that's lacking.

Uh, it's not like that at all. If you start on one drug you're more likely to try out other substances. I have a very open mind but, I still have an opinion and eyes. I've seen people go down hill and get hooked. .. Honestly, neither of them are in that great of condition. And Sharon will have to close down eventually so I guess everyone that will be affected can deal with it then. I went to Sharon so it's not like I want to see it closed but, the school system does need money.

And I wish they would do something about the high school. I'm not into construction or whatever but, there are cracks in a 'low baring beam' and I don't think that sounds good.

How is it any different? Ill change milk to coffee. Marijuana is NOT physically addictive, it's mentally addictive. Everything can be mentally addictive if you allow it to be so. You've seen people try other things, but do those people represent the entire population? No.
The high school needs fixed before Sharon closes.

That's cool. And it does represent a decent amount of people around here. Something needs to be done to both schools. I'm done talking about crap with someone that's older than me and probably knows everything about all this stupid issues around here.

If you don't like it, then don't let it represent you. Let people do what they want and you mind your own business.

So what our school is nothing but Pott heads they won't drug test the football team because that's the only thing they care about along with basketball.you act like smoking weed is a horrible thing to do.Dont run your mouth about how we need drug test either.we NEED money before anything goes down. And our cheerleaders are pit heads and that's a fact but they won't test them either because the a bunch of stuck up sluts. And they know there moms would find away to get te school board to reverse any of the charges so there for nobody gives a fuck about alleghany.

The band does not see one red cent of anyone's money. We are currently holding fundraiser after fundraiser to raise money for new uniforms. Maybe if you want money for drug testing you could hold a few like the rest of us. Just another way that the community holds athletics above the music program.
Get your facts straight.

Doesn't the Band have the concessions? Where's that money???? Any way I don't see anything wrong with the uniforms that they have.
