Police make arrest in deadly hit-and-run

" Police say a Clifton man was arrested Sunday in connection with a deadly hit-and-run. Grand Junction Police say 25-year-old Michael Ocampo was arrested for vehicular homicide.

This piece of wasted life (Ocampo)is a useless member of society, he deserves to burn in hell for the MURDER of a family man who loved his wife and two young sons and brought tons of joy and happiness to all his friends and family.!!! It really is to bad that Grand Junction is such a corupt and back water hick thinking community, this tradegy could have been avoided if the Mesa County D.A. and the rest of the so called local government had locked this trash up the first three times he commited crime, but energy jobs and inflated proberty values are far more important than the saftey, security and health of the people inwhich these elected officials serve. Michael Ocampo was actually a friend of the victim. The word among those friends is this: Ocampo, plus 3 friends left Rumbay(all friends of Mario's), and were driving on 30 road when they struck Mario...(Shortly before that a woman had reported him wandering in the road)
The 3 friends got out of the vehicle and went to this man's side, and then immediately realized this was their friend... They turn around to yell @ Ocampo to call for help, and he drove off.. he left his "best friend" and 3 other friends.. It's sad. He does deserve to be locked up.
Oh and I live in Grand Junction .. I am not corrupt nor a ..back water hick.. & I can actually spell unlike some people who want to be rude.

HATE is the wrong way it dose no good and is a waste of time and energey. My wife wrote a letter to the state of clorado and has recived phone calls,letters and we are seeing some improvement on the subject (debeque cayon). Find away to make a change it would be better spent(time,money and energey). Oh yea Rifles budget is now over 40 million. Taxes brought in by energey co. Who are strongly aginst drugs of any type. People need to spend more time teaching thier childeren wright from wrong. We all learn by example dont let it be hate no matter what. Thier is a proper way to address this. good luck to all ove you.
