Given the yogic force at my command, I think it'll be possible for me to quickly strike a deep rapport with the African lion and other wild beasts. Striking a close rapport with a beast depends on the play of the life-forces. In most cases, domesticated pets like dogs, cats and birds become calm and usually fall asleep or doze off in my presence.

except that I dont see the science as particularly politicized from the side of scientists. The rightwing would like to frame it that way, but I dont see it. The science has been pretty darn consistent. I remember before the issue was politicized by anyone (only back in the early 90s), and the scientific predictions or findings have not changed substantially since then. Only the rhetoric.
rabbee: yeah sure they were, 100% right about the sever hurricane season too. sure you can trust, scientists. and i also seem to remember, there many other theories of the universe until the latest one today. now the universe, has bikini string and halter top holding it all together. yeah sure you can trust scientist, as you best friend and car salesman too. and how you were all created, in the image of the great ape. as your scholastic average, is starting to catch up with that thought. put your hands safely into scientists, who developed the atomic bomb. so that we can all enjoy water-world again, at the end of the seventh day.

if you tick off G-D enough, you can find all your ships stuck in the Antarctic.

1) How do you account for the fact that water vapor is a bigger culprit than carbon dioxide where heat trapping is concerned?
2) How do you scientifically explain the normal lapse rate?
3) Derive the SI units of specific heat capacity beginning from its basic definition.
(smiles in advance)
rabbee: did you ever hear of, conduction and convection? or did you know that, oxygen is slightly magnetic? and increases in magnetic properties, as it gets colder. any shift in the magnetic pole or proton event, results in a slight change in wind direction.

I know quite a few individuals (including a 220 year old yogi (Barfani Baba - check his books or go to Google or to you-tube) who has maintained his body till now by the process of vitalization which is a much inferior process when compared to supramentalization) who've been telling me about the 2014/2015 deadline.
Let's see.
I have not seen evidence of a single prophecy getting fulfilled till date.

In science, we talk about evidence and confidence level and not proof.
Proof pertains to mathematics and to alcohol. LOL.

SUSAN: Snow is a sign of the coming of the Messiah. We'll probably have a record breaker.
JOEL: Snow?
Why not rain?
The world has experienced far worse winters than the present one.
So, snow is linked with the coming of some messiah who will be as ignorant and as impotent as the previous prophets? LOL.
Will this messiah establish world peace by mass killing of people who're opposed to his teachings?
Peace established on the basis of bloodshed will not introduce the requisite degree of a higher consciousness needed to regenerate the unregenerate human nature of the survivors.
Besides, peace should include a peace seen in the terrestrial nature, too - natural calamities should calm down or disappear.
Forget the appearance of the next species that exceeds the realm of the mind and with novel physiology to support the higher consciousness-force that surpasses the mental faculties..
The terrestrial nature is evidently evolutionary and is not subject to instant perfection.
rabbee: no! snow, it the coming of a politician. rain, is the coming of Noach.

g = GM/R as a working hypothesis works well.
If one has doubts about the existence of the elusive graviton or gravitational waves, then switch to the electric universe and plasma cosmology hypotheses which appears to stand on firmer ground than than the current gravity based cosmological model.
rabbee: if gravity is a constant, then how can you have a waveform? you cannot have compression and rarefaction, with a constant force. gravity is the result of mass, as long as the mass remains the same, there is no fluctuation. you can watch a marble melt in a thousand years, but mass remains the same.

<quoted text>Maybe your "people" do, but it has nothing to do with science. The prediction, coming true, is an increase of extreme weather events. Also, warming will effect different latitudes differently, as you well know being an Aussie. Hows the climate in Australia these days? Warm enough for you?
I've been in Victoria all month and except for one day in the 40's it's been colder than a brass monkey's balls. That isn't unusual. Victoria is know for rapidly changing weather.

That being said, our 10-year drought ended three years ago and rainfall levels in my state are back to normal - slightly higher.

Maybe the world is headed for doom as the shamans predict. But it seems we here in Australia will be spared Gaia's wrath.
