Many thanks to Mr. Reed and Ms. Aldrich for remembering our fallen troops with this wonderful monument to their service. My nephew, CPL Christopher John-Lee "C.J." West, was one of those included in this memorial; he was a U.S. Army Combat Medic killed-in-action in Iraq on Feb. 4, 2008, and is buried at Arlington National Cemetery. His parents will be in Washington, D.C. for Memorial Day and will be sure to visit this beautiful crane memorial. Again, thank you for honoring our fallen troops by remembering each and every one of them for their service and sacrifice.
