I have to agree with this person! Mr.Peru should have been given at least a month in jail for his actions.
I agree With SHEEEZE, If everybody is to busy to make sure justice gets done, nothing will get done to lack of interest. I bet the job would have understood the importance of making sure the community is safe from criminals.

This is an example of why our country is so screwed up.... virtually no consequence or accountability. He should serve time in prison.
He is known to us as " Little Maxie " and I can assure you he isn't sorry for what he did- only sorry he got caught.
A few years back he was caught killing a deer, out of season on Phelps Dodge property. He has a long history of breaking the law.
If he truly has a job-I doubt he won't have it long. I know a couple of weeks ago he went 2 or 3 days and didn't call in and didn't show up.
i have to agree with this person his probation is not going to last long either the people who know this man very well know exactly where he is goning to end up and it isnt gonna be back out here on the streets so he can commit more crimes. it is most likely goin to be behind bars. i dont feel any sympathy for him. maybe he should quit living in DENIAL and face the fact that he really isnt caught up on his child support you can only lie and get so many slaps on the hand before from the courts before your butt hits Rock bottom in the penn

Come on you guys/gals, can't you read?? Max got five (5) years probation, not fifteen (15). He had 15 fourth-degree felony chages against him. Maybe you should come to Cliff School and learn to read before you send any more stupid comments in! Max is a career criminal, a thief, a poacher, and a dead beat Dad (sperm donar). He is not caught up on his child support payments and never will be. As far as making $5,000 restitution within the next 30 days, lock your valuables up, Grant County,'cause he will have to steal that, also!

If his lawyer told the judge that he is caught up on his child support when he really is not, the attorney needs discipline. And shame on the judge for not checking. It's not that difficult for a judge to do.
