I'm looking at 2 or 3 of your yellow bikes that have been at my neighbors home (not in the downtown area) for a month. This is probably an excellent idea but not in Silver City. Too many thieves.

This type of program is so very important as it helps our kids stay out of trouble, by providing them with skills, mentoring, a father figure, all helping to increase self esteem and offer them a healthy life direction. I hope this program will continue. Give it your full support!

Great idea but should taxpayers be forced to pay for it? Remember that taxation is money taken by deadly force from wage earners against their will. Kind of like theft. It is necessary for a few things like national defense and police protection. But for free-use bicycles? If it is a worthy program and there are worthy people willing to support it, it will survive on private funding.
