Whoa Nellie! I never quoted Ms. Wooten as saying she broke no laws. I'm shocked that folks aren't paying attention to who wrote what! Calm down for crying out loud!

I am very supportive of Ms. Wooten's unfortunate situation, and I wish her nothing but success in her effort to remain in her apartment. However, there is a distinct possibility that federal law could usurp our state's medical marijuana law if somehow her case should wind up on appeal in the federal courts system.

I encourage Ms. Wooten's friends to set up a legal defense fund just in case the property owners decide to take her to court. I would be proud to contribute money to her defense. If any of her friends are reading or writing in this blog, talk with her about opening a bank account where people who support her could donate financial assistance.

Please, Joseph, don't misquote me again!

Mr. editor: I made a posting on this link several hours ago; your link even shows I was the last person to sign in and submit commentary. Where is it?

Very sorry about misquoting you earlier, CB.

I understand you are extremely supportive and think it would be great if she had a defense fund. I'd give, if they'd accept a check.

You might understand all this already, but my take on the whether the Federal Government may subvert or interfere with state medical marijuana laws comes from a recent Federal case, County of Santa Cruz v. Mukasey, which this past August ruled that the FEDS may not deliberately subvert state Medical Marijuana Laws.

But this ruling was a first of a kind, and I agree other past high-profile cases, like Raich, affirmed the federal government’s power to enforce federal drug laws against individual medical marijuana patients and providers on a case-by-case basis.

But hopefully, County of Santa Cruz v. Mukasey marks the beginning of the end to any organized federal effort to sabotage state medical marijuana laws. And hopefully, this property mgt company will back down, while they have a chance.

Just so you know this was meant for you...
One thing you can't hide is your IP address and that's attached to your location...So, is it snowing in Colorado? Why don't you look out the window and tell us. Funny how you claim you know about this complex or, are you just spreading stories via someone who lives there---perhaps maybe Ms. Wooten herself?
not quite, although your rampant incompetence is staggering. Many ISP's that are large scale rent out their IP ranges(and services for that matter) to smaller ISPs. this would explain the reason for the false IP address location, for instance if you use a verizon high speed card, it will reflect a different location than a local line connection. ass.

After reading and rereading Country's Boy's comments, the folks responding to him had better go back and look at his posting. I didn't read any of the comments they claim he said.

Are emotions running a little too high on this subject?

Kay Kay realty is sounding ignorant, "she is in clear violation of my lease" it's is a prescription just like vicodin or morphine. This is a medication, so if they are evicting her for prescription drugs what about all the other tennants who use prescription drugs?

Can anyone tell me what has happened to this lady? Is she still in her apartment or has she moved to another residence?

It's amazing how quick this lady's plight fell off the media network.

What happened to my earlier posting?

More importantly, what has happened to Mrs. Wooten?

Tell me when this thread is updated:
