It does.
And the people who push themselves to make $100K a year through overtime are the ones who die early. The average uniform makes much less than that.
Your second-hand knowledge leaves a lot to be desired.
Here I am, trying to support the police, learning on my own about the ways that cops can make the most of their situation and admiring them for it, and you decide to be a negative smart a$$ and insult my ability to understand. Let me reiterate that my info on this topic is first hand, and extremely accurate. 100K is not only doable, its becoming more and more common. So, for your pissy attitude and arrogance, I say to you F U you dik. The last thing any of us need is some moron cop with an attitude problem passing judgement on those of us who should actually dare to comment on the benefits of being a cop. You are obviously incapable of recognizing a supporter of the police, and thats too bad. Especially from someone from Hollywood, considering what's going on in that PD right now. Didn't momma teach you how to accept a complement with grace....

Hey, I think it's great that you worship and suck-up to cops. We enjoy having you toadies fawn over us. But don't think for a second that you understand policework or speak for cops, just because you give us free donuts when we come in to your minimum-wage job.

Okay, ball bag....you took a serious leap from my statement that 100K/yr is possible, even palusible for a cop, to then assuming that I somehow "understand police work". Let me sum it up for you in very simplistic terminology, that should not offend your delicate sensibilities.

I support those that choose to serve the community as a vocation. Why, you ask? No, it is not so that I can fawn over you as a "toadie", and no it is not so that I can worship you, or give you free donuts at my minimum wage job, thou it seems that this notion somehow excites you a bit.

The reality is that I find it to be a relief that there are people that are so stupid as to willingly put up with managing the seemy and worthless underbelly of our society, even while living in the land of opportunity.

It startles me that people actually do the job of a police officer for the low wages that we get away with paying for it. This only demonstrates that the world of civili service, your world, is nothing more than a collection of shattered dreams and lost hope. It collects those who cannot succeded in the real world of capitalism, where one must compete, and breeds mediocrity, at best. sadly, your words only serve to reinforce this notion, and prove that your professional life is now, has been, and forever will be a waste of time.

In contrast, let me tell you a little bit about my "minimum wage" job...I hold a Ph.D., and J.D. and work for a Fortune 5 company in a key leadership role. I have made more money in the first quarter of this year, than you have made in the past five and will make in the next five. The key here is for you to recognize that your decision to work as a cop shows nothing more than a lack of drive on your part, and that you are affraid to apply yourself against others in a competitive situation. Lashing out at one of the few persons willing to openly support your line of work was not only foolish, it was cowardly. Please don't embarass yourself any further with snide commentary or replies that direct insults. They only make you appear to be weaker by the word.

Take my earlier suggestion, and learn how to accept a complement gracefully. The next time someone tries to say something nice about your vocation, remember that you are there by your own choice. A choice that rendered you impotent in the real world of business.

Legalize-Tax-State Distribute American Grown Marijuana . Release all Non-Violent Drug Offenders.Fines not prisons for drug abusers. 35 Billion American Marijuana Dollars went to Black Market and Drug Cartels in 2006. This money should have been circulated through the American Economy not Columbias and Afdopistans. This will alleviate overcrowding in prisons. 70 Million American Citizens smoke pot why not profit from it instad of fighting a losing drug war?

Right. And then you woke up.

All you wannabe cop rejects are the same. Immature idolizing of those who do a job you can never do, then turning on us when we don't reciprocate your pathetic fawning.

But please, Mr. Trump, tell us with more stories about your penthouse. We could use the laugh.

Take a bath and get a hair cut, you rank tree-hugging freak.

First, make the actual penalty that thugs pay for crimes match the severity of their crime. Then, make criminals pay the penalty to which they are sentenced. Finally, make prison less pleasant so that it isn't such an easy place to spend your time. If you do these things, you will have what is known as a 'deterrent.'

Deterrent means that polesmoking retards like you will decide that the punishment for a crime is severe enough to convince you NOT to commit it.

Guess what happenes next! Prisons are less crowded because less crimes are committed and less people are sentenced.

All the while, we don't follow your suggestion, which is, in essense, to make a wrong right in the eyes of society, just because there are so many scumbags (like you) who decide that they shouldn't have to obey the laws of society.

I bet you don't like that idea, do you, hippy?

Hey you commie nazi,No there is nothing you or anyone can, could or will ever do to stop the flow of drugs here and around the world. Capital punisment in other countries has even proven to be of no effect. Legalization is simply the only workable and sane solution. This will free our judicial system up to prosecute heineous crimes instead of drug offences. Of course that would require some of these fat ass lazy scum of the earth cops to actually do work instead of profiling pot smokers for an easy days catch. We really do not need an egotistical bump on the ass of society retard like you killing and incarcerating everyone you do not agree with like your idol Adolph Hitler, you REDPUBLIKKKLAN Plowboy.Do you sleep with George or Jeb?
