He has gotten away with to many things. The DUI tops it all. He should have been out a long time ago.

As I ran upon this while browsing the internet, I felt it needed a response. I will not come in under a fake name as you both have and defend myself, rather I choose to be a man and come in as who I am. This is the same thing I did when the Bradley news weekly had its forum as well as when hometown cleveland had its forum. It is very easy to be a vulcher and attempt to kick a person when he/she is down. Mistakes are just that, and I have made my fair share. To Smith, as an elected official it is hard to get away with anything in todays political climate. To out of the woodwork, if we were friends from wayback you would know me well enough to know if i make a mistake i try to own it, if i wronged you I would have made an attempt to make it right. There are usually 3 sides to every story, your side, my side then the correct side. lol The fact you prefer to go under an assumed name and slander me rather than come to me face to face and resolve an issue lets me know I probably don't want to be friend with you. The people I consider friends are honest and upfront. If they have an issue they handle it, not hide. I can tell you, if I ligitimately wronged you, and it was my fault I would extend an apology. I will not get into a tit for tat and I will not kick a dead horse and wallow in the mud of issues I have taken responsibility for and accepted my just do's. What I always welcome is good healthy positive debate. As for working against me in my next election. Do what you want to, at least then you will have to show yourself instea of hiding behind a screen name. :-)

We used to be close back in the day but as soon as you hit big then you forgot about all of your other "friends" now this isn't about that fact, but instead the fact of the way our county commissioner has hidden from DUI so many times and got away with it.. Must be nice but now he actually HAS to own up for his mistakes well big boy don't know what to think of that do you? Now you think I am "kicking you while you are down" well just think of all the people you have wronged.

My friend, How do you hide something that is on the news from Nashville to Knoxville? lol I am not sure how that can even be a thought process.
As soon as I hit it big? lol If you consider hitting it big living in a 90k home, living paycheck to paycheck and simply handling pressures of everyday life hitting it big, then I guess I am in high cotton. I am not sure what you feel the position of county commissioner pays, but if you think making right under 9000.00 a year is raking in the dough, again, poor you. Though my life I have made many mistakes, and have had to own up to many things. I am sure you are the perfect one, and have made no mistakes, maybe you should put your name on a ballot and run for office. It is very easy to be an arm chair quarterback and judge from the distance. I can see the campaign sign now, " Outof the woodwork" for commissioner.....oh yeah that is right, you will have to actually show your identity. I put as much credence in someone hiding behind an assumed name and bashing people as I do someone sending a letter, but not signing it. ;-). It sounds to me like our paths took different turns and you got your feelings hurt. If you can tell me how I wronged you and it is legitimate, I will extend an apology, but as long as you hide behind a name and just bash, I have nothing for you.
Keep in mind, I do not own my seat, I am simply doing the best job I can until the next person takes over, if my district chooses to vote me out this election, I will not be upset, I will simply say i worked hard for 12 years and will do all I can to support the commissioners who suceed me.
In closing I will say the worst wronging is when you unintentionally wrong someone. If there is any truth to you feeling wronged, I would like to understand how I wronged you. If it is something you wish to air instead of holding a grudge, but do not wish to do it here I do not care to give you my number and we can talk about it.

Check out the facebook page Jack Burke for County Commissioner and look for an alternative to Yarber and Ledford in the 5th district

You are welcome to call or text me, if you do not have my number I will give it to you or you can get it off the county website. I don't care to give it to you here if it is easier for you.

Jeff Yarber is a good man. He works hard for the people of Bradley County and truly cares about the people in his district. He is a man of his word and is a average hard working citizen, he knows that you should work and earn a living. He owns up to the mistakes he has made and still continues to be an outstanding man, friend, dad, and commissioner!

I just saw first hand what a "good man" Jeff Yarber is yesterday in a council meeting. He is a jerk!
He was rude and his arguments to the man giving a presentation were off the wall. He has no business being a representative for the people of Bradley County. He is not the only "jerk" commissioner. We need to get rid of the drunks and jerks. We need some quality men and women to serve. Can't wait till we vote again.
