I, too, was screwed by Mickey's questionable business practices. I was never quoted a price for work on my 5 speed transmission in my Dodge truck. When I asked for an estimate or quote, Mickey said that a NEW transmission from CHRYSLER would cost 4,400.00. He didn't have a quote ready, but he said he'd get one. Three days later, I called again, to learn it was... 4329.00 after taxes. When I told Mickey that that wasn't an option, he got nervous, because my transmission was already in Louisville, KY being rebuilt. He had shipped it without my permission, without my knowledge, and without me being given any price quote, other than "Well, if you go to the dealership and get a new one, it'll cost you over four grand". After 5 days of haggling, with him threatening to give me my truck minus the transmission, or put a mechanic's lien on it. Finally, he pulled Jack into the office with us and had Jack tell me that JACK had HEARD him give me the quote over the telephone, and he would testify to that in small claims court. Lying seems to not bother anyone in that office.
I paid 2400.00, got my truck back, and immediately had the rebuilt transmission checked by a reputable shop just to make sure Lebanon Transmission hadn't deliberately sabotaged the job to get back at me. I was happy to get away from them with only losing 2400.00, even though I have since found out Central Transmission in Lebanon would have done the same work for 1,200.
RUN from Lebanon Transmission. They will not get another dime of my money.
when was this, for one, jack has been dead for a while, two, we do not send out transmissions, we build them all here what's your name and vehicle info, because i'm calling b/s

Had my transmission rebuilt by Lebanon transmission last fall. A part failed several months later and Mickey and his crew fixed it quickly without question. They started the warranty over even though the failed part was not their fault. I have had good service and a good experience at Lebanon transmission.

Dodge 3/4 ton single cab long bed with a Getrag 360. It was about two years ago. Sorry to hear of Jack's passing, but yeah... that transmission was sent to Louisville, KY per Mickey. I was as surprised as you that it was sent out. I thought they were a full service shop.

I stand by my post 100%. If I'd had a positive experience, I'd say so.
