I stayed there for 4 three weeks and the entire time we were there we were harassed by our neighbor who was drunk and would constantly call and come over and beat on the door at all hours of the night when we complained to me management and the owner about her they did nothing and told us to deal with it or leave and we were given a notice a few days later because we complained on her. We were harrassed when our keys stopped working which they did every 2-4 days and it was a problem for them to key recoding them. Our friends who had rented 2 rooms were eventually kicked out without being given any notices. The owner took a prepayment from one of the rooms for the following weeks and then refused to give them a refund and gave them 2 hours to get out. Their other room was paid for and the owenr forced them to leave that room as well. They were never given any reasons why they were forced to leave and they were not given any type of refund. The building is under construction (there are 4, 2 are finished) and the owner's check to the contractor bounced so his payroll checks to the employees bounced. One of the employees was staying here and he was evicted because he could not pay rent because the owners check for the work he had done bounced (he didn't get paid). The owner is very ncie when you are checking in and when you are paying rent but if you are not constantly feeding his checkbook he boots you. From the 3 weeks we stayed here we say the hotel pretty much go from the 1st floor full and about 1/2 of the second floor full to pretty much empty. The manager of the apartment is a drunk as well and enjoys blaring her music on the weekends until wee hours in the night. The place is very clean but its basically a fresh coat of paint slapped on an old deteriorating building. There is no insulation in the walls so you literally can hear the light switch click on and off in the rooms next door. The maintenance guy is also the security guy and he has no clue what he is doing, he is a "former" (and I am not so sure he's not currently one), when we filed a complaint against our drunken loud neighbor he told her we were the ones who did it, so she came over with him and pushed her way into our room to scream at us and he just stood there. I finally had to push her out of the way since she wouldn't leave our room and hit her with the door since he wouldn't get her out. The rules in this palce change on a weekly basis and you are not notified of changes only if you break a rule. The place may be American owned but the owner gives American's a bad rep. The cable is limited to 17 channels which work when they want to. I have heard the owner lie on several occasions to people to get them to move in saying he has all the channels and HBO. We have been waiting since we moved in for the channels to be upgraded. There is Wi-Fi available but it constantly goes out and if there are to many people on it you can not get on at all. The benefits to this place by far do not outweigh the negatives. If you don;t want to worry about someone taking your money and kicking you out then I suggest you stay elsewhere. The owner's here seem to do whatever they feel like. We have not had the problem with them taking our money and kicking us out but we will not be staying to take the chance, as soon as our rent is up we are moving. I dont recommend anyone invest in staying here because you wont stay for long.

I have lived in the day break suites since they opened, and I have to say that who ever wrote that novel is not speaking truth at all. First of all the management is very professional and has never raised there voice to me or failed to address a problem. The manager lady is very professional and is not a drunk, and follows all the rules of the hotel, just like the rest of us tax paying citzens. The courtyard in the back was just refinished about 3 weeks ago, and one of my complaints was the residents that let there dogs deficated in the grass and not pick it up, Sarah and her other half were both rule breaker's of this, even after several asttempts by management to get them to obyed. The one thing I know is that security is the number one priority here, and when you have too much foot traffic in and out of your room, and your caught doing a drug deal in the back courtyard, it is time to go elsewhere. So don't go away mad Sarah, just go away!!!!

I have lived here for 2 months, and I have to say the front office is the best they are very professional and work hard everyday 7 days a week. I PAY my rent every friday and have never had a problem being asked to leave. I think anywhere you live if you don't PAY you are asked to leave... DA!!!!!!!!!!

Im not sure were Sarah lived but I have lived at Day Break for 4 weeks and the place is quiet safe and the peoeple who work there are very hard working and bend over backwards to help . I do know Sarah and here dogs ruined the room they lived in with there dogs . And they were asked to leave because of there constant arguing and yelling between her and her boy friend . Day Break is the safest and best value place in Cleveland and maybe Chattanooga . You get a full kitchen and a king size bed all utli. included for $150 bucks a week .
Sarah you are wrong dead wrong and you should grow up and not lie about a nice safe place .

Ronnie apparently does not know about what he speaks! Daybreak gets rid of drug users as soon as it is known they might be a guest. It is quiet and safe for all guests.
